Very nice properties. Loved the Garden room, and Living room and the Gite was cute. Not sure what else they heated with, but was not sure about the heat in front hall in main house and upstairs. Did not see anything, but could have missed it. I know it had a fireplace. The property was very nice and plenty of room and very serene. Great to have privacy. Can take your time and do as you please and feel you truly are home after a hard day of work. My husband and I were always big nature walkers. Great for anyone who loves listening to water flow and just the quiet all around except birds etc. I do not think many walk through here?

To be fair to the notaries, the majority of this sum is designated for government taxes and fees, and obtaining the necessary paperwork to be sure that the property you are buying is legally sound.

In France, "notaire fees" are mostly taxes.
