You are just great. I love that even though you’ve been doing nails for so long, you recognize that there are things left to learn. Then on top of it you welcome others to educate you. Characteristics of a true teacher and educator.

That was my first thought too. Instead of acting like she knows it all, she'd rather we get an expert to teach all of us. That's the sign of a good teacher. Also Olga's work is amazing, so beautiful.

This is such a true comment. I completely agree. There Are so many people out there that say stuff like "I've been doing this for 30+ plus years, I know what I'm doing" whereas THE SUZIE is more like "30+ years and I still wanna learn". This is why we love Suzie!

That’s passion and It shows the amazing character she has. It makes an absolute difference! She is real and relatable. Such a great role model for everyone enjoying her videos. As always I’m stunned. So sentimental, it was a very popular technique in Russia circa 90s. That's how artistically inclined girls in my highschool decorated each other's hands during breaks between classes. The less talented ones (me) used glitter gel pens and sealed the design with clear nail polish. I wore roses and my bestie sported a leopard print. Thanks for sharing

39:27 I died with that leaf detail, it hit just right. Suzie was probably beating herself up so bad over this but the technique IS hard. It actually suits better if you you are less controlled and more flow-y, and I get the strong indication that Susie is like me. A perfectionist with a need to be in total control of her designs. When I do one-stroke my hand shakes with the battle of fighting the urge to be precise. lol.

Back in the 90's I think there was a popular painting technique that was popular amount the home crafter called one-stroke painting. There was a lady that used to Bob Ross type shows on how to do it. So there lady basically took that concept and developed a technique to do it on nails. That's freaking awesome! Its kind of retro in a way but with a whole new twist. I like it, nice lady, nice of her too share the technique. The painting aspect of it is a fairly easy technique, but tad a bit of practice to get the "wiggle" just right 😉

As someone that tries new hobbies and ordered equipment for gel nails after many, many Suzie's videos, I can clearly say that the only "one stroke" I would have with this technique would be a heart failure trying not to mess up all the good work lmao Suzie it's always so nice to watch your tutorial videos! Guest appearances are very much appreciated too 🥰

What a doll! 2 of them in fact. Suzie you have taken the mystery from nails. I was already trained by my own fake it till you make it home trial and error, but my cosmo school was really crappy on the teaching. I was teaching them. It was that bad. You've filled in so much of what cosmos like me SHOULD have learned. I thank you!!!

It felt like I was right there wanting to answer all Suzie’s questions. Love ya girl your so humble😁 the exact number you have been doing nails is my age! 😲🤭❤️❤️❤️

This video was fascinating! When I was in high school my nail tech spoiled me! She refused to ever give me a french( my mother agreed) and almost exclusively used this technique on each nail. She was very intentional about making sure each set was unique and taught me a lot about negative space and that art can exist off a canvas. I will say that her flowers and accents were smaller in scale so the balance was different. I'm inspired to try out some of these larger flowers on my big toe thanks for sharing!
