I wish I could post my first set I got. It was $75 (USD) and I asked for blue and silver (I had a reference pic which I asked them to copy) and in coffin style. They ended up being square, bumpy, jagged, not even close to the blue or silver design I asked for, no apex building at all, and they lasted just over 1 week before they all came off. I totally destroyed my natural nails and I will never go to a salon that doesn’t have a website or insta page with very high reviews and pictures of the nails they did. It was horrible. My NATURAL NAILS were left peeling off. Not to mention they wouldn’t talk to me the entire time. They just sat there ignoring me and talking in a different language to the other worker. They looked horrible, left my natural nails wrecked, and had horrible customer service.

@tianamorin56295 жыл бұрын
@@ESOR1023 also remember the high quality products being used, the time she was there is unknown, and how much product was actually used. As well as that Suzie is more of a high end nail tech. That all comes into play. Removing the whole nail is not only a long process, but also takes up a lot of product. Especially since she had to use 2 different products on 3 completely stripped nails. And that every file and nail bit is meant to be replaced after each use, not reused like many cheaper shops tend to do. With all that added in, I think the price is very reasonable. Let's also keep in mind she's in Canada and that the conversion was actually $90 US. I personally feel that as a rough estimate and all the factors that came into play and with the many missing pieces we still have, that the price is very reasonable

75 dollars for a nail fill?? Holy shit. This makes me appreciate my nail place so much more. I get a full new set for 35 and fill ins for 15, but that's just with normal polish. I dont know a single person who's paid over $65

Started watching your videos because I want to become a nail tech and I feel you really explain what you’re doing well. When I found out you were Canadian I got so excited and had to follow!

Stunning! My favourite two fingers are the pinky and the middle, I really like the way the spider gel looks on those ones.

Oh no, you are showing enailcouture play gel... I just spent a bunch on their acrylic...This video is tempting me to put in an order for the play gel. LOL! Her nails look so gorgeous! They remind me of the silhouette of dandelion seeds.

Beautiful Suzie, I've watched almost every video u've made now, so definitely a huge fan! 😘😘 Anyway, try putting the nail ur working on straight over the top of the spider gel jar, u'll have much better control that way. U can also just keep wrapping the string right around the nail & back over again, rather than going into the pot with each line (just clean off underside before curing). There's lots of other different ways to play with this stuff, but that would be my most useful suggestion... Nail much closer to the pot, like right above it and back a few cm's... Hope this is helpful... Great job lovely lady 😍🤩🤗

Honestly for everything that was done $120/$90 (US) is not bad at all! I would be more than happy paying that price for that set! Stunning ❤️

That's a week and a half for me, they grow fast. They are very hard but shatter really easy so I have to keep something on them so they don't break painfully. Could you do a video on what to do for something similar?

You should review different kinds of battery operated nail files that are sold at Walmart, Target, and other stores and see how good they are compared to the E-files

So, regarding the Gel polish, there is something that came to my mind with curing. I mean, you shouldn't undercure it, but I also frequently see that it's said you shouldn't overcure it as well. If you always put all fingers under the lamp, aren't you overcuring the polish then?
@NailCareerEducation5 жыл бұрын
Lol yes i was just talking to someone about that the other day - but if you do each layer all fingers at once its all good

What's the general feeling on nail techs copying the photos of other peoples work? I know in some industries, copying the work someone else did is seen as a bad thing, but I've no idea what it's like in Nail work.
@_heatheryvonne_5 жыл бұрын
I believe as long as the original creator is mentioned and/or linked it is a compliment. They linked the inspo pics in the drop down info.

Palitato I’m not a nail tech, but from what I’ve seen, I think the photos are used more as an inspiration.

It’s like with hair styles. Most everyone is getting their inspiration from someone, even the artist who is inspiring your design probably got theirs from someone else.
@ilooser2785 жыл бұрын
Personally I dislike having to try to replicate other peoples work. I get tons of clients bringing in very intricate Pinterest work and they want to be charged under $50 for it abd want it the exact same. If it was brung in as inspiration that’s fine.

OOOOO I JUST HAD AN IDEA!!!!! Okay, hear me out, when I saw her do the blue with the metallic base. It reminded me of those wishing flowers, you know, the really fluffy one. And I think that she could easily make wishing flower design with the play gel, it's simple but like aesthetically pleasing.

The spider gel is so cool!! I do nail where i live, and right now i have on my own nails, matte deep red nails with black and silver spider gel 'art' (similar to the first nail she did) I've had my nails on for 4 day now and have received a lot of compliments :) (Btw where i live the total price for this nail set would be at least $130!!)

Actually turned out more uniform than I thought they would with the different colors. Love the shape and that you have been giving a price estimate. I live in Oklahoma USA so I don’t think I can get those prices here. I’m just starting out. Thanks Suzie ♥️💜
