Awesome review with what is required..no unnecessary drama..it would be appreciable if a review is made on the pillion seat comfort, throw of headlight during night, comfort on rough patches as the bike will be ridden in city

1 complain 250cc model is not available in all cities n we cannot buy from metro city becoz it's 300 km far from my place. Incase if we buy we will have service issues beoz staffs are not trained for that model

thank you mam for taking time and reviewing the bike...i have few doubts.....almost every other bike like cbr 250,yamaha r15 and ktm 250 etc are equipped with liquid cooled radiator based engines and an aluminium swing arm.....why suzuki is not offering such hardware ? ....The oil cooled engine which is currently offered in sf 250 is really value for money and functional as liquid based ones during summer seasons and traffic conditions...can u help me in this aspect?

Do u justify d price for CBR 250 R ? Dat too a non abs variant for 1.67 lakhs ex showroom ? It doesn't even have a slipper clutch .It's good for highway but not dat gud for cities . The only update it has is new stickers every year . Liquid cooling & DOHC r gud things .

@umami Tsunami Liquid cooling is always a gud advantage , but DOHC , I won't say it's bad , but not much of a requirement in India .Top end power concentrated to catch speeds of 140+ to 160+ ? Most people use their bikes most of d time in cities .Even if we consider highways , We know the condition of our roads , as well as d way people drive on d road . We just need a bike with 6 speed gearbox dat would let us cruise comfortably at 100-120 kmph on highways .

Imagine d case of R15 v3 . 1.8+ lakhs on road in some cities . 1. Dual channel abs , slipper clutch , liquid cooling and looks are plus points . 2. But what about quality . It's one of d worst build bikes ever . Cheap quality plastics , tank issue etc... 3. Comfort ? Both on city ride or long ride it sucks . 4. Wrist pain , back pain etc.... 5. Totally useless pillion seat. 6.Maintanence is high. Now compare price , quality and features of MT15 which is said to be d naked version of R15 . So R15 serves as a entry level pure sports bike with poor build quality . But not even 60-70% of customers who bought it are using it for tracks , which means it doesn't even meets d purpose it was made for when it's in hand of those people .Many go for it just by d looks In d end , they get a poorly build bike with almost zero practicality for 1.8+ lakh rupees . We have CBR 250 R in India , which has a DOHC engine , liquid cooling and no further updates since its launch apart from stickers . The same model has a nonabs varient for 1.66 lakhs ex showroom . People say its powerful but power has been reduced to a noticeable extent with BS4 norms .Also it doesn't even have a slipper clutch . India has been a market where most japanese companies have been fooling customers in one way or other . What I personally feel(no offence to others ) is Suzuki has almost taken a step forward bringing us a bike with balance of practicality , performance & pricing . After all Japanese bikes r never cheap . If u forget d Dominar (Indian) , and compare the price with offer from japanese makers , there is hardly any vfm product.
