I have an Old Gixxer 155 ...man what a bike.. it's been almost 4 years ..No punctures , no nothing...The motor has become so smooth after 18000km , good cruising speed 80-100 easy , punchy motor and great riding dynamics..my nexr upgrade will be a suzuki 250

Bought one. No complains till now. Everything is great about the bike. ABS kicks in early, which I consider necessary for our bad roads, irresponsible vehicles, people, stray dogs crossing paths all the time.

The "S" of SUZUKI is for Smile For me it is Second Gixxer After the years back the First Gixxer 150 in India I bought one and after that switching to RE Classic 350 I came back to SF250 And this machine is just brought back my smile

One of the best decision to buy this beast! 151 KMPH, in BS6 variant states alot. Just imagine it having a better windscreen with a change in lighter silencer will make a hell lot of difference in the pickup and top end.

DUKE vs GIxxer - my real life experience... BS 6 250 Duke owner....when my motorcycle started to come on its own after the 1st service and post the break-in period...i thought nothing can come close to her...and true to an extent...on short drags, quarter miles, even standing miles and bumper to bumper traffic....there is no match for her... but then i was with my friends travelling from Kolkata to Digha...on the highway i met with a G250 SF....and it was not able to keep up in traffic heavy situations where outright acceleration matters...then came an endless stretch of straight roads....and i pinned down the throttle and my motorcycle redlined at 143kmpl...not an inch more...and then...eventually...gradually... this beast caught up to me and overtook me....and was nowhere to be seen in sight... and we met again at the next tea stall stop. ..its a popular point here in Bengal called Kolaghat...I asked the rider at what speed he topped, he said it was 157....damn that was impressive....and for a motorcycle almost 40K cheaper than the duke and yet outright defeating it on the highway like that..KUDOS to Suzuki.....truly humbled by that motorcycle...and what an experience.... I am not a KTM fanboy...but I love my machine more than anything else...and I love all motorcycles in general...this one is a gem of a product....as much deserving as a KTM if not more...truly underrated as it doesn't sell many units...and thats what frightens me....what if suzuki pulls the plug from this fabulous product.... if I had to choose a worthy competitor to the 250 Duke, this one inches the closest...the FZ25 & Dominar 250 are not even on the same scale...

I wanted to buy RS200. But dealers in Chennai denied Test Ride for the bike and they look customer like Bike flikers. Then I went to Suzuki showroom almost all showrooms are friendly and then I chose SF250. I did a right decision. These bike is a wonderful machine for Highway cursing. I just changed the visor for wind protection.

Those who are requesting comparison with Duke 250. Duke 250 and KTM in general has major technical issues. Like many others, coolant and engine oil got mixed because of engineering design flaw resulted in major service costing 15k. This issue was addressed by Hondas and Kawasaki before 10-15 years. Better you go for an established and proven engine than KTMs.

@Kuya Jay Hi. That's also a factor for a good bike. We invest lot of thousands to lakhs, but still those locks are not strong means then what is the need of buying it. Just performance and safety don't determine a bike's value.

The only thing missing in this motorcycle is the slipper clutch. If the Suzuki gave the slipper clutch in this bike at this price range it will got more sale.
