Absolutely love it. Got 2021, with 15k miles for 20k€. Equivalent toyota would have been 25k€.

I do find the front end styling nicer than the Corolla wagon (reminds me of the US Corolla sedan front end), but it'd be nice if it had the 2 litre hybrid instead.

Must admit I liked the Rolling Stones quote there! I also agree with you on the CVT gearbox thing for tho' I've only ever driven one car with it which was a 1.6 Nissan Note which in theory should have been a nippy car wasn't because of the CVT because when you put the foot down and asked it to perform there was a wail of revs, not much happened and eventually some but not all power happened. In the case of the Note I only successfully overtook safely in it once I was just glad it was only a hire car at the time but in the case of the Swace/Toyota it's the CVT gearbox that updated or not would frustrate the life out of me and would put me off one of them if I'm honest. That and the Swace doesn't seem as well finished as the Toyota, the last Suzuki I looked at looked very cheap inside for a car at the time that wasn't tho' I must admit the fact that it's coming on 16's is a good thing as it not helps ride comfort as you observed but also fuel economy, you're less likely to kerb one plus the tyres are cheaper.

Do they not sell the Corolla Estate (Touring) in Ireland then?? What’s the benefit of this particular car over that one?? Is it that much cheaper??

Think they are pretty much the same price, they do sell the corolla estate in Ireland, the Suzuki might be a bit cheaper.

It's just a rebadge. The video would have been more interesting if it was a focused on direct one to one comparison to Toyota Corolla's features rather than introducing as a brand new car.
