Suzuki Swift Sport & Jimny Ceramic Coating & Maintenance: Is it worth it?

We recently dropped off our Jimny for a 6-month ceramic coating maintenance and she continues to turn heads.
If you follow our channel. You will already know, that we believe ceramic coating your new paint, is absolutely worth every cent. We applied our ceramic coating to our new Jimny a few days after taking delivery. The past 6 months we have been on many off-road adventures resulting in many home car washes and wonder how we would have ever lived without it.
Don’t get me wrong, ceramic coating isn’t going to protect your car against all scratches, but it makes it easier to clean and protects your paint against harsh elements. Despite all of our off-road adventures, we like to keep it looking its best and ceramic coating definitely helps.
We recently purchased a Suzuki Swift Sport. Talk about, best of both worlds. The one can go fast and the other one can go almost anywhere!
If there is one thing, we’ve learned this year is that your car has had an entire life between the factory and dealership. Whether you are buying a Suzuki or a BMW, paint imperfections are a possibility. Even though our swift was still wrapped in plastic, there was a layer on the car that simply couldn’t be removed with a few ordinary car washes. Our trusted detailer, performed a 1 step paint enhancement to remove the residue on the paint. The detailer then applied a 9-year ceramic coating to our candy apple red paint. We also treated the exterior glass, black plastics and the interior plastics, seats and carpets.
The products used are the one-and-only Gtechniq Ultra, Gtechniq Smart Fabric and Gtechniq C4 plastic ceramic coating. There is a lot of detailers out there offering a wide range of services, so, do your own research! We’ll link our detailers contact details down below.
And the fun doesn’t stop here! Ceramic coating requires special care! I like to compare it to a Brazilian blowout, but this time it is for my car! We use a PH balanced shampoo that was specific formulated for ceramic coated cars. We wash our own cars and we wash it often, with proper wash techniques and products. We never let dirt sit on the car for too long. In fact, before and after every 4x4 adventure we wash our Jimny! Some call us crazy, but these cars aren’t just here for a good time, they’re here for a long time to!
