One word? Incredible. Smooth, comfortable, lots of power and fuel economy not far off from the DR. Just keep in mind it will never match the DR offroad. Light trails and back roads mostly. No comparison on the highway. Good wind protection that you will never get on the DR. Plus the cruise control is pretty cool.

Ok this competitors are faster after 110-120km/h but who needs more on a twisty road? I also like the build quality much more compared to a Tracer 700 for example. It’s definitely not boring :)

As a suggestion to your question about the front forks/wheel shimmy, I have the same thing with my '18 DL650XT with only 6000 miles (less than 10K km) so it may be something that requires an adjustment or something peculiar to the spoke wheel. I plan to look more closely when the winter weather breaks and the garage warms a bit, but the two things I plan to check are 1) steering tube bearings (too loose), and 2) lateral/radial run-out of the wheel rim (uneven spoke tension). The new motor sounds glorious!!! Is that the sound of the stock exhaust or aftermarket?

Geiler Sound. Die AT klingt im Vergleich zur XT bisserl"spritziger" oder täuscht das? Egal, wie immer geiler Clip.

When will you try the CB650R? I really find it so similar to the little old CB 500! I think a raw from u would be awesome

What a great job you do!! Thanks. Ive got a doubt, 1,94m tall my current bike v strom 650 is getting old, just wanted to get a bigger one. 95% on road and 5% easy gravel, twisty Roads and highway mostly, so v strom 1000, v strom 1050, africa twin 1100 standard?

Depends on your specific needs and wishes. All of these bikes will do 95% road and a bit of dirt perfectly fine.
