Strange to see the express lanes on the right. In Canada, they're always set to the far left of the travel lane.

Which ones do you mean? The ones where the shoulder has opened?

@@Sven_E Yes. The equivalent of these types of lanes in Ontario are called HOV (High-Occupancy Vehicle) Lanes and are set closest to the centre medium. While used by cars or other vehicles with many passengers during marked times of the day, they end up being the effective express lanes for fastest drivers in other periods of the day.
