Some trivia about Road to Wrestlemania: Undertaker refused to do Voice Over for the game, so he never speaks at all in his RTWM (aside from sound bytes taken from existing footage) Hornswoggle, who was unlockable in Undertaker's RTWM, was the first instance of a manager character in the series (managers who are NPCs only, as previous managers were playable as regular wrestlers like Paul Bearer in the PS1 games) Jericho's Road to Wrestlemania was originally written for Bobby Lashley, which is why the Masked Man was in army fatigues (Lashley is ex-army). The story was retooled after Lashley left and Jericho returned. The masked men in Jericho's RTWM resemble the masked men who Muhammad Hassan had attack the Undertaker If you pick Mr Kennedy as the Masked Man in Jericho's story, it's revealed that there were two Masked Men (Orton and Kennedy) and you face both of them Tony is voiced by Bryan Williams from THQ, he is also modeled off of another THQ employee. The director of the three Smackdown vs Raw Road to Wrestlemania modes has a KZbin channel and has done director's commentary for all 09 stories and most 10 stories. It's called ViolentLee.

I am still so pilled on this game even 15 years later I immidialty knew why he gave him a custom finisher. In 08 Micheals finishers were a normal quick SCM while standing and one you could start while the opponent was on the ground with buildup. In 09 for some reason both of his SCM started from the ground and were extremly similiar. Only diffrence was one had a pin attachet. As someone who liked playing Micheals in 08 this felt horrible as you lost the opportunity for a quick finisher during a fight and got an extremly redundant instead. Even worse because other Wrestlers like orton or edge still had the same concept of a normal standing and ground Version of their finisher with. I still remember being pissed about this. Worst even tho you could swap finishers, where just wasn't a normal SWC in the Game. I tried making a custom one too but since you needed like two parts it felt never quick and naturel. I am not surprised he ended with this abomination after failing like me to just give Michaels a normal SCM.
