I just got one 1400, and I also have an older RSW-12, which is sealed and used to be their top sub. My plan is to buy another Klipsch RSW-1400 to have a matching set of bookend subs in the front. Time and money!!!

I just bought this klipsch and it has absolutely blown me away! It replaced 2 svs sb-1000 pros, I can't believe what I'm experiencing now it's amazing and the gain is only at 3 ! As for the svs brand , far too expensive in uk. The klipsch rp-1200sw was £999, the svs pb2000 is £1200. Really annoyed at myself for buying into the hype for the sb-1000s .

I can understand the person who said moving more air is better if they just want bass and dont care about anything else, but its obviously not better for all situations and people, it depends on what the person wants from their speaker.

I have an SPL-120 on one side of my stereo/TV and an RP-1200SW on the other and watched Interstellar with (probably) too much base. During an extended scene, like going through a wormhole, I almost dumped an RP-600M2 I had on my SPL on top of a footstool, but I couldn't see the driver - I noticed that the stool vibrated towards the side and rotated about 20 degrees towards the center. I thought the RP1200SW was going to explode the driver was shaking so hard!! More than I need for a 13x16 bedroom, but I shouldn't complain. The RP-1200 is more powerful by itself then a 10" and 12" I had stacked together. I could feel the rumble and the wind blowing out of the bottom slot.

First off, thank you for your honest, unbiased, clean reviews. You are very thoughtful about the way you review your products for the average consumer. I agree with you, the SVS is a fair amount tighter down low, but I do think that the Klipsh wins in the mid base (where most base is at), which is quite surprising. I have the 1400s and they are great. I thought hard and long about going with SVS versus Klipsh and in the end Klipsh is basically as good for half the price. How can you beat that? I’m excited to see what SVS comes out with, maybe I’ll reconsider in the future. As for now, the 1400s are doing great.

Yes. My space in my home cinema is only 15m 2 with sealed room and a door, so i think it is better with 2 or more sealed 10 - 12 inch subs then.

Just build 2 Dayton UM 18-22 in 150l sealed. Power them with a Behringer nx3000d bridged.

I have the xtz cinema speakers and have owned many different subs then. I think my next subs is going to be either the cinema 1×12 edge or the velodyne deep blue subs. The db12 was the sub of the 2022 then.

@@Lowkey_nxthxn I recently purchased the Monolith THX Ultra 13” sub and it’s definitely better than that SVS. I paid $1300 on sale and its DSP controlled 2,000 watt RMS (3,800 Watt peak) very low distortion and house shaking base. But over Klipsch I agree, the SVS is better here.

Hi! Nice review!👍 You spared me to actually buy Klipch rp 1200sw! Since i was curious about the new rp lines klipsch subs! Heard lot of good things about them! That being said,I Have currently 1 pb 2000 pro,and since these two subs,out from this video,Seems both is very equal,i will drop the Klipsch! But i also have look at the pb 3000 too,but more expensive😬 feeling that one,will be a different class than pb 2000 pro. Could you maybe one day test pb 2000 pro vs pb 3000?

Did klipsch really fix their amp issue? SVS is pretty much invincible and youre buying good quality with great service. Ive heard horror stories for klipsch.

I have multiple SVS SB4000's and in the app you can name the subs e.g. front left, rear right etc. not sure why your app might be different in the PB2000.

Hey home cinema king so in my country trinidad d guys at streamline systems Ltd says that not much svs has been sold since covid is like 3 per year while klipsch about 20 per year that's alot for klipsch being sold

I cannot stand the port chuffing noises on the SVS's. I'm looking forward to selling mine ASAP but no one wants it. Plus, the ports are made entirely of plastic and they resonate together along with the air trying to get in and out of the box at the same time. Those who say they don't hear any port noise it's probably because they didn't listen to content with low enough frequencies (down to 12hz)

@@MusicMovies67 Read it again, you probably haven't listened to low enough content like Bassotronics, Mellow & Sleazy, Nandipha808, etc. True high quality subwoofers shouldn't make those noises no matter the SPL
