Congratulations man. I upgraded from dual PB16s to dual PB17s and I can't believe how much of a difference that made. Everything just hits and sounds so much better now. I mainly use them for HT use which is why I got the PB over the SB version. Btw piano gloss all the way. Pain in the ass to keep clean but totally worth it.

Congratulations bro. on your sb17 purchase. In terms of balance sound distribution the sb2000s are better than a single sb17 even though the sb17 is going to have a huge output there'll be some dead areas. Two sb17s would be far better than a single sb17. Using all three subs (two sb2000s plus a sb17) together would present sound distribution mismanagement issues because of the differences in drivers sizes whether or not you decide to stack the sb2000s. As a smart rule (not a law), always use multiple subs of the same drivers and same outputs. Never mismatch subs or use a single sub. Congratulations again

dual subs or more will always be better than a single sub for evening out the bass response in a room. A single sub would be fine if you are the only listener and always sitting in the same listening position.
