This is a cool install. Considering the customer is financially savvy enough to use some gear they already had on hand, the upgrades over time will be interesting if you ever do updates.

Nice video that shows the complexities in the room and how they were overcome. I would submit the room will bring joy to the home owner for many years to come

Great video! Was wishing you showed how you went from the race track used to hide wires along the baseboards to where the new wiring went. I would like to know the wall paint color. Great setup!

@@Professor5180 it was a difficult install as far as the pre wire. Im guessing thats why the previous home owner chose to do the chase run.

Good day fellow Houstonian! Do you plan to use a DSP Mini for the subs? I'm currently entertaining the idea of picking one up and may have to run by the store to get some insight on using one.

@@67spankadelik not for this room. Most our installs do not need that level of calibration. Stop in the shop. Id love to show you around.

If you have a Marantz or Denon AVR it's worth your time to look at OCD A1 EVO script. I have no affiliation, just used it myself a couple days ago and it really improved my bass fidelity of my three subs. kzbin.info/www/bejne/op69ZqyMZpKqg6s

Plus don’t Marantz/Denon use separate individual sub outputs?

why not in wall speakers? In my opinion it was be the best solution for such place.

I think if you are starting your theater journey to audition towers, and not marry them by going in wall with a little more install effort. However, you were right that if he went in-wall, the acoustic transparent screen would have made sense with a larger screen. VERY hard to light that screen that big though.
