Dear Pravinder Ji, Thank you (once again!) for comparing two almost similar but distinctly apart radios for their SW reception. In your experiment, the Pagaria out performs the RF-562 on SW band. The Pagaria pulled-in Radio Ceylon with ease and with good clarity & stability. Whereas, the RF562 failed to lock-on to Radio Ceylon. This is an eyeopener for those who are on the fence waiting to purchase one of the two radios. For the price, the Pagaria undoubtedly beat the RF562. I own the Philips Champion (RL-384 TV), a 4 Band radio. This radio has very good sensitivity & selectivity on 3 bands (i.e. FM, MW & SW). The 4th band (TV band) is of no use to me. Also, surprisingly, this radio has a super long whip antenna - 42.5 inch when fully extended and 48 inch from the base of the radio (generally considered as the TRUE length of the antenna). Dear Narendra ji, thanks so very much for a great comment. Actually, it was disheartening seeing the SW performance of a Radio from a stalwart company who was a pioneer in the field of SW Radios at one time. I still like it for its super-sensitivity on FM and its build quality and sound, but it disappoints big time on SW band. Pagaria is a balanced Radio, no doubt, I have recommended to many people because of its all round performance.

Depend karta hai aapki priority kya hai. Agar Radio mein sirf FM hi chahiye aur sath mein Bluetooth etc to Grenade best hai. Radio ke teeno band chahiyein, to FM ya SW priority ho to Creta aur agar MW priority ho to R-917.

Kailash ji, thanks so very much. Actually there are so many different stations on all bands that any such pdf is almost impossible to make. Also, Radio catches different stations at different places, so such pdf is not very useful. The only way to know about programs on different stations is by tuning them and listening to them in real.

Dekhiye, do baat hain bhai ji, Pahli to ye ki reception alag alag jagah jagah alag alag quality ka hota hai. Mere yahan isne nahin pakda Ceylon. Dusra ye ki ye 562 DD2 Radio hai jo FM par strong aur SW par average hai. Aapke paas 562 DD ya 562 D hoga, jo FM par average the aur MW/SW par bahut strong.

Taking cue from you Pravinder ji other international reviewers, I finally ordered XHDATA D808. No way is it cheap or anything but as a one time investment, made my mind and shelled out 7600 rupees. It’s slated to be delivered tomorrow. DXing on all bands to begin soon for me. 😀

But anyway, I don't regret a single bit of it buying in 8500/- even. (Or you may say I was the person responsible for its lower prices later on after my videos on it 😂😆😂😆 ). Just don't expect too much from it in sound department and it takes longer time for charging. Rest, its a gem of a Radio.

@@pravindersheoran u can very well be the reason for them reducing the prices during sale , haha 🤣. Missed buying it back then during the sale, I always thought who would invest 8 thousand for a radio. Did holistic reading of online reviews and watched few videos on KZbin to realise that tecsun and other radios are even more expensive. I am already into DXing with RTL SDR dongle but RTL is not that great on HF frequencies, upto 30 mhz. So I were already planning to go for a HF SDR receiver but then thought let’s purchase this XHDATA radio and see its capabilities on HF first. If it works, will certainly invest on some HF antenna or maybe an HF receiver in future as well.
