What's even worse about Danzo is that killing Shisui and causing the Uchiha to be wiped out along with all his other horrible actions was all because he was butt hurt that Hiruzen was better and more respected than he was and was chosen by Tobirama to be third Hokage. Danzo himself pretty much affirms this because his last thoughts before death were about how he could never catch up to Hiruzen

If Danzo's actions were at least shown to more often than not actually be for the greater good (and not endanger the village) he could have been a cool morally gray character (like a Spymaster like Varys or Littlefinge), him hating the Uchiha makes no sense especially when you consider he personally had an Uchiha team mate. You want him to hate that clan show some of them leaving the village to become mercenaries (like Zabuza and Haku) and have one or more of them unalive Danzo's wife and child (actually showing him being a good father would help make him likeable/more sympathetic). Even the Root program if it was shown to actually produce ANBU that helped do far more challenging missions that saved lives would have gone a long way

I like Danzo because he actually has some of the coolest uses of wind release. Dumbest reason ever, but the vacuum bullets and those wind shurikens were fresh after seeing a bajillion Rasenshurikens. Also, his hand signs were visually unique. Finally, his fight with Sasuke was one of the last few decently-scaled fights where the characters had finite power limits. Danzo had a timer on a forbidden Jutsu, and some actual fucking jutsu got thrown around. We got to see Sasuke do that "Deduction-no-jutsu" subterfuge thing he does in a few of his fights. So basically, yeah, I hate Danzo. But his wind style looks cool, and he makes cool fights happen.

It seems like Kishimoto halfway through writing Shippuden saw DBZ and Bleach and tried to implement those types of elements in his story. The problem is that Ninjas went from being "Stealth Tacticians" to "Unstoppable Gods" as a result. Part 1 of Naruto is probably the best in terms of consistency. But that's my opinion.

6:09 I totally agree with this. Why did Kabuto get Sage mode instead of Orochimaru? I mean sure, Orochimaru was bodied by Itachi with the Sword of Totsuka and sealed away but he was still essentially alive through Anko's curse mark and via Evil Releasing method. Plus Orochimaru did the Edo-Tensei *BEFORE* Kabuto and when he revived Madara and Itachi, Kabuto should've known that he literally brought back the most OP Uchiha and he made Madara more stronger than he usually was back in his glory days - this is even proven when Madara performed Edo-Tensei on himself to prevent himself from going back to the afterlife!

Kakashi: I cried because, my friend committed suicide and made me responsible, my other friend got killed because of my carelessness, my sensei died and I couldn't do anything about it and then I found out my friend actually didn't get killed, he only murdered thousands of shinobi, ruined Naruto's life, started the Akatsuki, started a worldwide war and he was responsible for killing my sensei, and he wants to erase the world completely. Obito: I cried because, my parents died, I was bullied as a child. Everyone disrespected me except Rin and I was always living in the shadow of someone else. Then I started to lose Rin's attention too, because I wasn't born strong enough. Then I died myself, sort of... Then I had my mind attacked by a freaky old Uchiha ghost. Then I saw my ONLY LIGHT, get killed by my ONLY FRIEND. Then I feel into hatred, then I almost completed my plan to end the world, then I figured out everything I did for the last 18+ years was just being someone else's bitch. Madara: I cried because my entire family and life was consumed by war. I lost my family one by one. I lost the rest of my clan and then I focused on bringing the world to peace, killed millions of shinobi, only to figure out I was tricked by this black piece of shit. Nagato: I cried because my parents were murdered in cold blood. Then I was happy for a moment, only to have my ideals shattered when my friend died. Then I was manipulated by another guy for about 17+ years. Then I was Talk No Jutsued and realized everything I did was wrong.
