For all those who think Naruto is both Hokage and Genin, in borate episode 48, when it was written in the subtitles that Naruto is still a genin, it's just a mistranslation. In Japanese, the sentence is in the past tense : since I never past the chuunin exam, I was a Genin the entire time (before becoming Hokage). Anyway, Masashi Kishimoto stated himself in an interview that "Naruto didn't become a jounin, he became Hokage as a Genin". As a matter of fact, Hokage itself is a title. Otherwise, if he is still a Genin, how could he receive mission from someone if he is the one who gives order to every Shinobi of the Leaf.

It was explained somewhere that both the Daimyō(Feudal Lord) and Kage are both equal in rank. There's no superior rank between the two. The Daimyō is suppose to fund their Hidden Village and the village in return is suppose to act as a standing army for their nation. Although, the Hidden Village has the luxury of acquiring funds from outside sources(missions). If one ever decided to make a power-play, I suspect the Daimyō would be completely helpless to do anything about it.

I never thought I'd see naruto fans this stupid. Itachi reanimated would decimate sasori unless you're putting sick and ill itachi up against him. Itachi not sick would wipe the floor with sasori though. Even if they were equal in strength which they clearly aren't as itachi has Susano and Amaterasu two of the most hacks ability in the series itachi is still much smarter then sasori, and if you e actually watched naruto intelligence is almost as important as power. Outsmarting is 90% of the show, also itachi tanked sasuke strongest move Kirin without even bringing the full Susano out and you think sasori is just going to waltz on through it as long as he doesn't hit the shield? Also keep in mind this was when itachi was sick also, everything about him would be improved a lot if he wasn't. Even when itachi was gettin hit in the fight zetsu kept saying itachi should be able to easily dodge the moves. Itachi was holding back and very ill and he still beat sasuke and tanked his hardest hitting move without even full Susano and one shorted orochimaru with it in middle of fight and you think sasori has a chance against healthy itachi?

Good question! The answer to that is a legal patent created by the UN and signed by most of the countries in the world. It stated that in any military training facility there was allowed to be a level of combat that did or should not result in death. So, as long as every one coming to the event (all the villages in this case) had signed it, they could carry on. I'm pretty sure Hayatte Geko specialized in kenjutsu. I think there was a single episode on him. I also looked it up and found: Hayate was a very powerful kenjutsu (swordsmanship in the Naruto franchise) user. He easily became tokubetsu jonin, and was even “chosen” to be revived in the Fourth Great Ninja War by Kabuto, where he once again showed off his Dance of the Crescent Moon technique.

Sasuke is a rouge ninja, he isn't Genin, he lost that rank once he left the village. Naruto on the other hand, well, he eventually became Jonin after the war with a lot of studying, only after studying was he Jonin and able to become Hokage. Naruto lacked the experience factor which came with regulation, which is why he was never made an Jonin to begin with until much after the war. He could have been Chunin but he failed the second time, it being his own fault, he used Sage jutsu which wasn't allowed, which is how Komamaru became a Chunin before Naruto. Ranks kinda did matter, the Kage and Jonin didn't acknowledge their rank but power during the war, I doubt many people knew Naruto was even a genin, most labeled him an S Ranked ninja/ Jinchuriki. During the war almost nobody knew anyone's rank unless they told each other, which I doubt anyone did.

This isn't the sand village, the leaf actually have a strict hierarchy that calls for it. Naruto became a Jonin after a lot of studying.
