Knowledge of something is different , but implementing it is different . We spend hours in physical worship , make pilgrimages but our fickle mind wanders away soon from the object of devotion . Physical involvement is necessary ; but more important is mental alignment to God with faith , surrender and loving adoration . God is happier with our mental attachment .

In the materialistic world our mind, intellect both are so merged that the false Happiness taste as very sweet. Deep faith is lacking in us. It is the lack of depth of knowledge about God, soul, body and if some knowledge gain is there by saints still intellect is not believe so strongly. Thanks swamiji for nice teachings ❤❤

Radhey Radhey!!In physical Bhakti we are engaged in devotion but the mind is distracted.This is because our intellect doesn’t have faith in God to surrender as it is defective in material conditioned state.When we run our intellect according to divine knowledge and do actions accordingly then the mind automatically is controlled 🙏

Wow, mind blowing lecture! The three defects of our mind is anitya, where is gets attached and runs after the temporary things in life thinking that those our permanent, Anatma, where it thinks of itself as the body and not the soul, and dukheshu, or desires for material things that only results in miseries. In order to free ourselves of all these we need to surrender our minds to God, physical practices or austerities are not important, they are there to help us train our minds so we can engage our minds to God and in addition to our minds, we need to surrender our intellect as well. Cant wait to hear more about the process!

The part where it's described that the intellect is not fully resolved makes me feel humbled that this is a journey and I have to keep making steady progress. Such an impactful video overall! Swamiji describes the reality of us materially conditioned souls and the tools to bring ourselves to that resolved state where everything we do will be the result of surrendering the mind and intellect to God and Guru.

My Guruji has explained so well and in all the lectures he has said that cultivate right and correct belief in the intellect. Once it is done then it is very easy to control the mind. We all have knowledge but the reason we are not utilising the intellect because the belief is still not strong and we are getting trapped in Maya and postponing the path of Spirituality. Utilise the three steps to empower the intellect 1. Shravan 2. Mannan 3. Nidhidhyasan Surrender completely to Guru and God. Follow six rules of surrender and every moment analyse the thoughts and actions with these rules for self-improvement. I guarantee you once you do it everyday then life changes completely. I am so grateful I found someone who is teaching about the Vedas!!!! I would like to share that I died in hospital and remained in a coma, and I traveled in the spirit world, when I woke I was a COMPLETELY different person! I know this sounds crazy but I traveled on sound and vibrations in the coma, I know now its the sound of these Sanskrit chants I also played a flute to make an atmosphere to travel on sound with other spirits who were teaching me. I am very different now, for the better. Thank you for teaching the Vedas, I am American but my soul has had many lives.

Among all the internal machinery we possess, the intellect is supreme. The beliefs we hold in our intellect can control the functioning of our mind. But our intellect has its own limitations; the knowledge it holds is subject to four kinds of defects: karanapatav, bhrama, pramada and vipralipsa. With so many defects inherent, we cannot rely on our intellect that it will take our mind on the right path. Very valuable knowledge for today's world. We are running around temples around the country as a checklist as if god is going to verify that and allow us to his divine abode after our time is over in this birth. He knows where our mind has been all the time. You cannot expect an ocean of divine bliss when you offer only a raindrop. Now that does not mean you have to give up everything and go on pilgrimage forever. Just keep watching where your mind is when you say you are doing physical bhakti. You can sit at home and engage in roop dhyan and see how much you can focus on god. Day by day practice it and make it a habit and get involved with more devotional service for the pleasure of god
