I think tim pool did a video on this. Haven't really checked it out, it's the Brazilian leaders fault or something?
@ThomasAndersonbsf5 жыл бұрын
@@611gay5 he has done another video on it and the buying land if his info is right, would not be a bad direction if they make sure to buy BACK the land that is being farmed and then let the encroaching forest around finish doing its job of reclaiming the land. Also looks like making them less profitable by lowering how much beef and soy bean based products we consume, though I have an idea that if we switched to say wheat, or rye based grain products and other high protein based plant sources, it would just cause them to start using the land for that, to stay in business, instead of going broke and selling the land off to allow reforestation, Another process could be to reforest land that is a desert now, by building massive solar furnaces that use mirrors to concentrate sunlight onto a kiln, as this would work to keep the sun off the ground where the mirrors are, thus allowing humidity of the cold night to remain on the ground and soak in, allowing plants to start cropping up, get enough of this, and with mirrors that are high enough up on stands, and you would have a trap to keep the sun from drying it out, but instead it would power the growth of the plants you had start growing naturally under them. thus you would want to put these farms on the edge of a desert so that the surrounding biology could move in under it and spread into the desert region, and then you move the farm to allow it to come in further into the desert, all while cutting down on oil and coal use, :)

Haven't heard of many folks having sightings or experiences with The Grundles, but I'm sure there are still a few left, hopefully much more than a few are still left haunting and hunting the swamps, uplands and even the steep rocky bluffs and mountain tops.

Avid hunter here. Creepiest thing I’ve ever had happen to me out in the woods was when I was walking to my stand at around 4:00am (2hours until sunrise). I kept hearing twigs snapping and leaves rustling behind me the entire 2 mile walk in. Every 50 yards or so I’d turn around and shine my flashlight, but see nothing. I finally made it to my stand and hurriedly climbed up and got situated. I listened closely to see if I could hear any movement, but it was just pure silence. Finally I decided to scan with my flashlight to look for eyes in the field/woods. As I stood up to turn and scan, I heard a low growl coming from right below my stand. I whipped the flashlight beam down to see the largest coyote I have ever seen to this day at the base of the tree staring up at me with his fangs bared. After a few seconds of my light on it, it ran off and I would continually hear it moving for around an hour until the sun finally came up. Still gives me chills to this day to think that it what followed me so closely for two miles and they are normally very skittish of humans.
@Kfear155 жыл бұрын
Second scariest thing was blood trailing a deer in to dense, dense woodland at night only to realize I was lost, my phone was dead, and my flashlight was getting dimmer. Naturally, right after I realized I was lost and all of this was happening, the coyotes began screaming and hollering all around me and all I had was my bow and a small knife. I just picked a direction and ran, eventually coming to an old gravel lease lane. Terrifying experience, but a good lesson to me as a young hunter at the time.
@outdoorlink51975 жыл бұрын
@@Kfear15 i had a similar experience but i wasnt hunting i had seen where some one shot an animal out my spot as i was trailing it i heard yelping and rustling a group of turkeys came darting out the woods about 30 yards away then about 8to 10 coyotes came out and stopped and looked at me they then dispersed back in the woods some went back across the fire lane so i took off running scared cause i had no gun a atv 500 yards away as i was running the yotes lite up all around where i was standing which caused me to look back (thinking they were chasing me) as i looked back 2 came out the woods basically what would have been behind where i was standing.. i caught another gear

I haven't had anything creepy happen except a pack of coyotes 20 yards from my stand. Which for the record, sound creepy at 5am in the quiet, dark woods. The story about the woods shapeshifter was a good story. My father and I years past had a similar experiance. While hunting on our families land in Nova Scotia, we had a similar experiance. Siting in our ground blind we watched this haze walking 100 yards ahead of us, changing shape every few steps. It was as if a poor working projector was skipping causing a faint glimpse of movement. The weird part was the feeling of dread that overcame us, at that point. Looking at my father, his expression was that of sadness and despair. Once the thing was gone I said dad, I ended up having to hit him in the shoulder snapping him out of it. With a snap his head turned at me with a messed up expression. What was that I asked? what was what he said! Within minutes we left, mentioning to my granddad what we saw, dad stared straight ahead. My granddad said you where hunting up the back paddock, I said yes. Brushing his chin he looked at me and said you saw the shapeshifter of the woods. With the oddest expression I said what? You have seen this? He said judging from your old mans face, I've seen that look before. He smiled and said your father will come, I did.

Sadly no matter what a normal person thinks you are always going to have people who believe it to be wrong (I am a vegetarian and have been since I was 13, so for 27 years nearly and I hate farming meat but as much as I don't eat meat and have no intention to ever eat it I do believe that hunting for food is 100%better than buying meat from a shop as at least the animal hunted has had a enjoyable life and is normally killed as humanly as possible)
