You really respected your client's aesthetic on this one, yet gave it your touch of coziness and warmth, which make the spaces you design feel like home. This definitely is not my aesthetic, but there are a lot of take away messages from this project that I'll implement in my home. I love how the house is elegant and simple and let's the nature that surrounds it take a role in the design.

First thing I'd do is a splash of red on grey-white canvas painting over that fireplace, then take it from there, grey pillows with flashes of red, black with flashes of red, nice. The house and everything you've done, is amazing. Cheers

the lighting fixture is sketchy and adds nothing to this large area, a silly piece like that adds nothing to the power of the rest of the elegant simplicity...each to his own having said that I just loved the majority of your plans and embellishments for example in the rye house...basically I love your attention to detail and taste generally...so keep up the good work .

Wow! This is my favorite home so far and I have loved all of the homes. This one stands out in a way that I wouldn't necessarily think it was a Studio McGee project at first glance. Great to know that your team can really understand a client's vision and their own taste. Previously it felt as if all of your clients wanted a Studio McGee home instead of a home that's theirs but designed by you. Does that make sense? This is closer to my style than what you've done before, but I love everything you do! Add a touch of Modern Industrial Chic and we're golden (but where you like to add gold, add silver instead, hehe). I look forward to seeing more of this space, especially where they let you add color - I'm thinking accent wall. :)

I was so excited I didn't add details. I love how the TV/Fireplace makes both of them look bigger. As long as the fireplace doesn't damage the TV, that's great placement! Coloring the barn black was a huge success. I love how the paneling on the barn still has different shades of black, that looked amazing! You always make wood ceiling beams look great, and this one was no exception! I love how you kept the same chairs throughout the 3 sections of the kitchen. As long as they're comfy chairs I'm 100% sold on that idea!

Just ran across this home while looking for clean, modern cabinets and an island with a waterfall edge. We are looking at dark mocha cabinets on the bottom but I love this cabinet stain.
