Swan Lake Trail at Furman University & Lake Placid Trail at Paris Mountain

12/16/2021 - Today we walk around two lakes! Small lakes, yes. But both are great little walks and they are about 15 minutes from each other.
The first is Swan Lake Trial at Furman University. I never realized what a beautiful campus it really is. I great place to relax and take a stroll on any of their four walking trails. We did the 1.25 mile walk around Swan Lake. Easy, leisurely, and beautiful.
Next, we head to Paris Mountain State Park and do the Lake Placid Loop Trial. Again, easy, leisurely and beautiful. Nice walk for kids and dogs. Very cool historic dam along the way. The only challenge for older dogs or people would be a short but rocky and somewhat steep incline on the far side of the dam. Other than that, it's a very easy walk.
