Scheduled generation starts at 12 minutes before the hour. Within 10 to 15 minutes the generators can be running full load. That’s said, maintenance can start a unit anytime to test components at any time or if a running unit goes down and they need a unit not running. It will then start.

Love Brevard NC...I Fly fish in the area and have been many times. O.P. Taylors is one of the most amazing Toy Stores you will ever visit. There used to be an old book store I liked to browse in, but it's closed now. I also heard the rumor about the College being a great place to view a White Squirrel; spent a good bit of time there and never saw a single one. "The Hub" is a great stop for Mountain bikers...Davidson River Outfitters is a great stop for Fly Fishermen. Mantiques is an interesting store. A block over from the street you were on, there is "Mikes"...a cafe that serves Italian food / pizza.

Not gonna lie, I was debating if I wanted to give up a little details on The Looking Glass Waterfall but you can swim in the water under the waterfall not too deep maybe 5 feet absolute max. I love, love looking glass. Its my happy place.

There are lots of white squirrels around Franklin Park where you went. They are the very same squirrels as the common grey squirrels just with a white coat variant. They are not albinos and most have a small grey patch on the back of the head or even a streak down the back. Whites can be born to greys or be a part of a mixed litter of both whites and greys. There are other places in the US that have white squirrels, but not in the numbers that we have in Brevard. Thank you for this lovely video of our beautiful town.

I know it looks like it might be different but it’s actually pronounced “Two - ga - low”. And regarding the Prather house (pronounced “Pray - ther”), Confederate General Robert Toombs avoided capture by the invading damn yankees by secreting away in a closet of the house during one of their searches.

Guys, I love your channel. I just visited Glendale. (I think the park is called Glendale Shoals.) In summer, it's overflowing with lush vegetation. I like the falls... and the rapids below... the best. On the west bank, there is a small row of a few old storefronts made from the stones there. The old storefronts are amazingly being "reclaimed" by the vegetation... a photographer's dream.

Your channel just popped up on my feed today. I'm so excited to watch your travels. I live near Easley and am always looking for fun and interesting places to take my granddaughters when they come visit. We've taken them to Tiny Town every year (for the oldest one it's been 8 yrs) and the youngest enjoyed her first Tiny Town visit this past Christmas. We have enjoyed talking to the family members by the fire who keep this sweet gem going. It's so kind they do this. I agree, donate something if you go. I'm on my way to watch another video😁

We moved here for the company I worked for in 2019. We actually love it here. It's a great place to live. @getlostwithjustinkris
@getlostwithjustinkris Жыл бұрын
That's a great question! Unfortunately, it's one that I cannot confirm due to lack of a website or any real online presence on behalf of Tiny Town. What I can tell you (based on our personal experience) is that it open from 5:30pm to 10pm every day and that it goes from "just after Thanksgiving" until New Year's Eve. You might give it a few days after Thanksgiving to make sure, but this has been a tradition for decades, so I feel it's a safe gamble. I only wish there was phone number or website to reference. That's the best advice I can offer. Best of luck on your adventure!!

That sounds was "not creepy", I know to someone who has not heard it before.. it may sound creepy, but not really. To me, it sounds like someone with Tourette Syndrome (ticcing), I have met someone who's tic sounded just like that! (I also have TS, myself. And, I know what it is like for them, the stress the tics cause etc). So, to be completely honest, I am abit offended, by the "creepy" comment. But, I also know that was "not your intention", you were just "uneducated" at the time, about that sound. As I said before, I know that it "could" sound "creepy" if you do not know (or understand) whatthe sound is/was... I do not falt you, for not knowing. But, Tourette Syndrome, is extremely difficult to live with. Expecially, for the person who is living with it. (I am thankful, that mine is extremely mild. Yes, there are times that it gets out of hand, and with the newest tic, it sends me into a deep depression and I do not want to live when it gets out of control. Because, it is just that bad, mine affects my eyes and I am litterally unable to see and is extremely painful. That is all I will say about it. I do not like to talk about my TS. But, I will note.. how I absolutely "hate" the Hollywood, etc.. because have a misconception of that TS is... most people think that TS is just about "vulgar language", which 1st off, only a "small percentage" of people "use profanity". But, that to me honestly did sound like someone Ticcing, like I said, I have heard it before.. and in my minds eye, I can so see, this person I met before with that tic doing it. (It may actually be that person, or another with the same tic.) Sorry for a long message, sorry that I am abit offended by the "creepy comment", but if you lived with TS and someone said that about someone's else's tic, you would feel the same way. (Anyone would.) Atleast, I hope I have helped you understand what that sound was and I also I hope I have raised a little awareness about Tourette Syndrome. Because, this is something many people live with on a daily basis and many people misunderstand what it is... So, I hope that I have worded things in a way, to help you understand. I know, I am not good at communicating and all, but I hope I did a good job, explaining and I hope you do not take what I said the wrong way. (I was told, many people tend to do that. So, I hope you do not. I hope you take it like I ment it and not take it wrong.) Take Care & Stay Safe.

We are truly sorry to have offended you. We most certainly respect other people and any conditions they may have. Had we seen a person make that sound, we definitely would not have made that comment. It was simply an unfamiliar sound from and unknown source. It would never be our intention to poke fun at anyone or to offend anyone at all. In fact, we didn't even hear it until we were editing the video later and simply didn't know what it was or could have been. Again, sorry to have offended you. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching.
