"Can you unzip this pouch and look for the big stick"... LOL! Yeah, I'm mentally 10 years old, so that made me laugh!!

I think it's the cold weather causing the clutch issue. One thing I used to do when I drag raced was tilt the bike to the side of the clutch plates and pull the lever in 3 or 4 times. It helped soak the plates in oil and made the engagement smoother.

Engine is hot using the same oil, no is not cold wewther. It would have to be bee 0 to even consider the cold wewrher thst is at 218 deg hot oil, clitch sleeping take e out inspect and sand course to bring it back to life

I don't believe the oil was hot.

It did seem like after we took off and the bike warmed up completely, that it stopped!

Maybe some fresh Yamalube oil and a filter? My KLR clutch, having minimum free play at the lever, grabs a bit too much when the oil is cold. Looks like some good hunting woods. Can you think of a good bow and / or shotty mount for the dual sports?

I thought oil right away too, but I think he just changed it after his trip. It is a little odd that it only did it the first time I took off, before it was warmed up... Haha, no not really. It would be pretty neat to have a good way to carry one into the woods though!

I did just change both with synthetic oil. Could be that's when it started?

Steels or frictions could be warped.

How do you two keep connected with your comms? My buddy and I have issues with our Cardos breaking up
@SwankyCatProductionsСағат бұрын
Yeah? How far apart will they stay connected? I think ours are usually good up to a half mile or more in clear conditions. In the woods we can get cut off, but only if I'm really far ahead or behind. We can usually still talk, even if we can't see each other.

Both bije are great bit on the trail. Sorry less than 360ls lighter better. I you get stuck in florida muck where i trail with the gators here and you have t9 gwt off the bike and power her out, that big heavy bike woukd sinck. That is a light mud, with firm ground bike. Too many time my son and woukd venture to 3 feet of watter and survived with muck to our calf, ans we have been able to take our xr out of the 2 to 3 feer deep swamp.

Oooh wow! Yeah, I wouldn't want to ride anywhere near mud with alligators in it!
