I keep seeing different information about lubricating sway bar bushings upon installation, notably polyurethane bushings. Some say to just lubricate the inside of the bushing that contacts the sway bar and some say to lubricate any part of the bushing that contacts metal or in this case the inside and outside. Which should be done?

lubricate the inside of the bushing where the round bar makes contact and lubricate the outside of the bushing where the bracket makes contact. Wipe away and remove as much lubrication visible once the bushing is installed. Any exposed lubrication will attract dirt and grime working its way into the friction zone. Lubrication is good, over lubrication is bad.

What can cause a sway bar link to keep going bad? I end up having to fix my sway bar link and left strut. Once fix it started driving smooth again but now it's coming back I could feel that it's coming coming back. What can be causing the sway bar link to go? (Rav4 Toyota 2011) .

Are your sway bar bushings solid and intact? They could be worn out and in turn your end links will wear out faster. I'm in the process of replacing my sway bar bushings from excessive turning.
