Haha glad to help! Forza is actually a great way to mess around with car setups and see how different settings change the car's driving characteristics.

Hello! I recently installed an Rear Anti-Roll Bar on my 2013 Mazda 2 (From DDMWorks) and holy crap it made a word of a difference! The back end doesn't want to drift away when driving the car hard around corners more and it's more stable! The hardest part about it was the drilling though the twist beam since I didn't have a powerful home drill that can easily puncture metal so it was just a waiting game. After that it was straight forward of putting the rear Anti-sway bars in and that's it! I clicked on this video for some good insight of basic car mods and this video popped up. I am planning to get a C6 Corvette or a ND Miata one day after I pay my Mazda 2 completely off. The editing and straightforward for this video is right up my ally! Good, let's keep this up! Cheers!

Hey, sorry for the late reply, but I'm really glad you enjoyed it and found it useful! Hope you're still enjoying the Mazda 2, sounds like a really fun car!

@@themotorsportstory It's been nearly 6 months now?! Time fly's way too quickly. And yes, My Mazda 2 is still up and running well and I am planning to buy a stage 1 for it and installing it soon. Besides the minor things like the windshield seals are leaking water during a heavy rainstorm and minor paint damage my Mazda 2 is still going strong as I always push it to the limit nearly everyday when I drive it! Lot's of people look at me like I am crazy when driving it around 80mph into windy roads which always make me laugh, but I know when to not overdo it because of the unexpected can happen like a sudden well blended oil slick on the road that is around a blind corner. Never happened to me but I always think about it when I am driving fast that it could happened you know... But yeah. The Mazda 2 is such a Riot to drive and I am surprised how it only have 100HP stock and it just zips though corners like a go-kart! Your videos are a bad influence to me and I love it! Keep it up man!

I jumped from the stock 18mm rear bar to a 22mm aftermarket and it is crazy now whwn I turn super tight turns. Like my wheels lift off the ground I can can feel it but never see it myself since I am driving n one person told it happened. Idk if that is supposed to happen but the car handles really good and I don’t lose control it doesn’t feel sketchy but that can’t be right, idk what to do it must be normal is what I tell my self nervously when it happens it’s only one of the rear tires that lifts depending on which way I am turning . I drive a 2018 Honda civic si and I swapped out the rear bar to a whiteline 22mm might be 24mm I don’t remember pretty sure it is 22 n upgraded end links non adjustable (accord end links)non adjustable tho but they are beefy pure steel compared to the plastic stock ones they fit perfectly no forcing them in everything lines up smoothly so idk it’s gotta be right? Yeah it normal nothing to worry about mhmm

Should a went BC coils Taylor Ray perfected them for Miata's when he was building his miata, he was actually working for BCracing at the time. Now he's a full time KZbinr and does competitive drifting onna pro level with a grass roots race team, dudes a legend

@@look_its_wesley8252 No worries, I didn't take your comment the wrong way at all. I've been a fan of Taylor's stuff for a few years too. I've never had BC coilovers myself but I have some friends who have them and really like them. The ones I talked about in this video have worked really well so far. It's a lesser known brand, but they make great quality stuff for Miatas. Thanks so much for subscribing!

I built my Miata to the max handling wise, I would recomend the extended lower ball joint from circuit sports, Miataroadster's a1 ground control nylatron bushings and the skidnation steering spacer to reduce bump steer. For brakes I won't buy anything but Brofab's big kit with the afco f88 calipers.

Thanks for the recommendations! I'll need to do suspension bushings soon, so it's good to hear what other people like. Do the ones you mentioned require zerk fittings/regular greasing? I'm still on the old stock ones.

Nice dude i have an nb too with a couple of mods on it! Id recommend you to adjust the sway bars with you in it so you dont have any preload when you're in the car😎

Good tip for sure! I was alone and didn't have anything I could use in the seat equal to my weight, but definitely worth doing if you want that extra ounce of performance.

The notch in the drivers side Racing beat block is only important for NA Miata’s right? I don’t think there is anything there that needs to be accommodated for on the NB
@themotorsportstory6 ай бұрын
Yes that's correct! There was no need for it on my NB. Racing Beat's instructions say it's to accommodate a power steering line on 90-95 cars that have it. Thanks for watching!

noooooo you didnt just trim the bushings bro!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :O ::O :O :O :O :O they are ment to be a bit bigger. you will compress it when you tighten the bolts. And I know those bolts came with a set, but those are 5.6 quality bolts, you should instal at least 10.8

The video doesn't give the best angle to see it, but the bushings were actually way too tall. I installed without cutting them first and even with everything tightened, the bar was binding way too much. I didn't cut them completely flush with the bracket, just enough that the bar could rotate freely once everything was installed. It's a common issue with these bushings, here's a thread of more people having the same issues (forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=458151). Certainly not something you should have to do in most cases, but the bar was binding up otherwise. Also, thanks so much for the kind words and for watching!
