The ARC Trooper beam gun seems very reminiscent of the Geonosian beam weapon from Republic Commando, maybe the original plan was to introduce the ARC troopers as a counter to a possible Geonosian for the Separatists

OmegaMagnusDA I think they should revamp the Wookiee warrior for the rebellion and convert it into a class more befitting of AntiVehicle role. Dice can Keep it the same for the republic, but change the Rebellion faction.

I miss the old flash grenade. It disabled saber tracking so unless you were right in front of a saber hero, they wouldn't leap toward you. They also couldn't see so you could just roll between their legs and beam the back of their head. To each their own though. At least the grenades are okay.

I think it would be so cool if they added the Rebel Honor Guard and Imperial Royal Guards as reinforcements that can only be used when Palpatine or Leia are present. This way they're still adapted for BF2, but can be implemented in the way they were in BF1, which I always really liked.

How about this: Phasma's Staff Strikes are replaced with that Laser Gate (that combined with her droid would make it so that she wouldn't even have to worry about enemies getting up close to her), and Iden's Pulse Cannon is replaced with the Arc Trooper's Death Ray so that there's a legitimate reason to use it (maybe with a longer timeout though). That would help make both of those heroes much more viable against enemy heroes.

i think blastr heros should have more to defend themselves but i can see why its hard to balance the issue because a lot of people forget that being a RANGED hero is alrdy quite a buff, saber heros like dooku have a hard time with groups of enemies while he excels at hero fighting for example

Staff strike can be very effective if paired with both her health buff star cards, especially when in sentry range. With 50% damage reduction on your 260 bonus HP you have 1220 effective HP for a few seconds.

That ARC trooper is way more interesting than what we actually got. Wouldn’t have minded seeing a WESTAR blaster come out with them either. Would have preferred either weapon to the dual pistols. That beam weapon would have been very unique in the game

Some of the stuff they cut truly boggles the mind. There's references to Padme and AHSOKA in the game, but they never added them? Ahsoka is one of the most popular characters in the series, yet they actually cut her, but added BB-8 and BB-9E? No Ventress either? ANY of the named commanders from the Clone Wars series like Cody? NO MANDALORIAN, despite the massive popularity of it?

To be fair, one of the developers did confirm they wanted to keep the live support going. After the Scarif update, it was confirmed that they were going to release Asajj Ventress and Ahsoka Tano along with a Mustafar map. Had it kept going there definitely would have been The Mandalorian content. EA was the one who made DICE pull the plug on the game. One of the devs even pitched Battlefront 3 in a meeting with EA but that quickly got shot down.

Well some content is being made for this Month and the next couple of months, in regards to Sequel and Original trilogy content. The Rebel Pilot would be an ideal reinforcement class for the Rebels however I’d like to see the original Rebel Heavy (yellow visored new hope helmet with green rebel clothing, padded with armor pauldrons) Trooper as an enforcer rather than Honor Guards

Ah from the original battlefront they should bring 2 troopers into the fray!!!! 1. Rebel vanguard with the rockets and mines (the ones that look like chocolate pancakes with the cherry on top) The phase 0 dark trooper with the jump pack and a electro stun blaster.... Both of those units will be a nod to the original battlefront 2004 and the sequal of the original from 2005. Probably Maybe as a thank you gift for buying the game like you immediately get to own them once you buy the game no trying to earn them with points or having to pay micro transactions imaging what those units would look like in the frostbite engine 😀👍

I been saying for the longest there's content in story mode from battlefront 1 but not available for multiplayer. Scarif. Bespin. Or the original map, Vardos. Dice also could've added other sections of in-game parts of the worlds but they only did that with hoth. Missed potential

Since you can import these things within swbf2, are these actual separate classes or are they a replacement with cut out abilities? Also, if these were separate classes, is there any chance that you could program these ai to use these special reinforcement classes, (besides arc or phasma, would be cool to see different abilities playable for the ai though). When ai are using these classes, this could be a new addon for the instant action improvements.

1) Rebel Pilot was replacing an existing class because I got a little lazy (and bored) but the Honor Guard was entirety separate from everything else. 2) Yes ai can use them. You can see Rebel Honor Guard ai in the video. 3) I don’t think they really qualify as an Instant Action “Improvement” and they are very buggy

Why don't they just add the rebel pilot & royal guards as appearances for the rebels? We already have non-canon scenarios and cross-era characters, etc so it's not a canon issue. If they were making them from scratch I would understand, but they're already in the game.

What's funny is imperials had multiple skins in ea battlefront 1 (shock trooper, shadow trooper) but they couldn't port that into the sequel at launch. Probably Ea's stingy claws holding dice back content wise
