Idk, I kinda like the sith trooper voice it gives you the feeling that you're actually on the battlefield and you're actually having to shout over all the blaster fire and explosions, it just seems more realistic to the battlefield than the others, even if the droids have com-links and stuff like that

Here's another piece of trivia: Rey's alpha voice actress, confirmed in a now-deleted tweet that she was going to voice Phasma. If Phasma was delayed from being a launch character to TLJ DLC, it might be possible that they used that time frame to bring in Gwendoline Christie to re-record.

Mop Head, you can actually hear some of these voice lines in game. The flipped attack/defence ones at the end actually play if you get the bug where you team swap in CO-OP. I joined an Ajan Kloss game as the Resistance but ended up on the Empire side, and the announcer said the line about “Rebels retaking their base” (but the Empire was still attacking in the gamemode).

This is very intriguing, I find it interesting that some of the dialogue hints at what victory scenarios took place for the battles depicted in galactic assault. Let’s take the Kamino galactic assault map. I’d have thought that the republic must have won that battle, because a republic loss would be a disastrous blow to their war effort. However, there is that dialogue that talks about the CIS having to hold their freshly conquered territory on Kamino, while the republic must not allow the CIS to maintain a foothold on the planet. So maybe it’s possible that CIS won the battle depicted in GA, & that leads into the battle referenced in the unused Kamino dialogue, in which the Republic managed to kick the CIS off the planet. This dialogue could definitely be of use in attempting to determine who won the battles shown in galactic assault.
