Paul, we are all up to date with your SWCP videos. You’ve been on our TV every night for the last week or so and we feel we know you! 😂 They’ve been so very enjoyable to watch and as mentioned before has brought back so many happy memories. Our walking of the SWCP didn’t include as many miles per day as yours but you seem to have paused at all the same ‘sights’ as we did. Keep going Paul, we are looking forward to the next video!

So glad you have enjoyed them. It’s strange as I film these little videos and post them but unless I get messages like yours I do not know if people enjoy them. KZbin is a very 1 sided relationship 🤣

My wife and I really enjoy your SWCP videos.. We finished walking the path September 2019 so watching you walk it brings back wonderful memories. Some very hard walking around North Devon and Cornwall . The south is abit more gentle in places. Love the Black Swan and it's goslings at Dawlish. As for the undercliffe well when we walked it my wife didn't feel comfortable at all. It's very remote section so we understand why it was closed due to landslide. Keep up the walking as its just wonderful. Hope to see Monty one day on your walk 😊

Thank you, I’m glad you have enjoyed them. Those cliffs on the North coast were tough but some of the most spectacular sections so far. I am really looking forward to the Undercliff. I’ll give an updated opinion of it on the video once I’ve walked it 🤣

Great to see you back Paul, best walking blogs out there, I'm thinking of walking the path this year 😊. Just gradually getting all the kit, you have been very helpful recommending campsites ect😊😊

Ah thank you Clara. I’m very envious of people who are just about to start on this great walk. If you have any questions when planning your walk then just ask.

Nice to see you back out again with that sea view and abit of sunshine, nice little walk and looking forward to the remaining episodes, have you thought about your next adventure yet and started planning it,

The sunshine was short lived Neil, back to heavy rain since then ☔️ I think the Devon coast to coast or maybe the Pembrokeshire coast

@@pilgrimpaul7798 We want to start this year, probably early September. But first another attempt on the Cumbria Way in May.

Lovely to see this area from the path. I have taken the train there quite a few times 😊 Good to know that I must be aware of the tides when I shall be walking there some time. Will have to plan the dates for walking according to the tide tables. What a lovely day for walking. We just had a little sleet and snow here the last couple of days 😱 But it luckily melted when it hit the ground. Have a great weekend 😊

Ah yes that is a picturesque train journey. We are still having terrible weather. Currently in the middle of another named storm ☔️

Walked all that coast path and you proposed on the Teignmouth back beach 😂 Hindsight or......
@pilgrimpaul77986 ай бұрын
Haha well I have walked all the coast path to this point, but Lucie wasn’t with me on any of the other parts! It did look a bit prettier at the time with the tide being in 🤣
@jonstfrancis6 ай бұрын
Talking of tides out I advise that when you get to Lyme you don't follow the inland detour but walk the beach to Charmouth. There's loads of awesome inland walks along the west Dorset coast but that detour doesn't count in them lol. I need to get some walks in, the weather is just crazy right now but you've done it!
@pilgrimpaul77986 ай бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion. I’m sure it is a nicer route that you have suggested, but I am bound to follow those acorns and whereever they point is where I must go 🤣

Great to see you out on the path again mate. Cant believe it’s been 3 years since you set off from Minehead…where does the time go?!

Scary how it goes by. Feels like yesterday in some ways, but when I think about the journey to date it makes it feel like a long time has passed.

Glad to see you carrying on with this, Paul. As you say, a bit of a plod to Starcross but at least it's flat! A shame the Undercliff at Lyme is off limits for you. I second the comment about finding your own route rather than using the recognised inland route East of Lyme Regis. It improves again from the Lyme Regis Gold Club
@pilgrimpaul77986 ай бұрын
Thanks Carl. Thankfully the Undercliff is open again so should hopefully get that section done when I head off for my next trip.

Well done Paul, chipping away. You will have a great record of your adventure when its all over. What's next, PCT or AT??! Looking forward to your last few stages. All the best fella. p.s. the undercliffs can fall into the sea for me!
@pilgrimpaul77986 ай бұрын
I quite like the idea of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Haven’t made my mind up yet. I don’t know what I will think of the Undercliffs, but I have it in my head that for some reason I’m going to enjoy it. Need some settled sunny weather before I will be tempted to head out on my next section.
@theglumhiker28816 ай бұрын
@@pilgrimpaul7798 Hi Paul, Pembrokeshire Coast is on my agenda but waiting for my wife to get well so we can do it together. That could be at least two years unfortunately. I'm planning the Devon C2C this spring, maybe late May should it stop raining! After nearly 2 months, I was worn out by the time I got to the under cliffs, and it was very muddy, so I probably have a negative view. Sure you will love it fella. Atb.

Glad you’re back on the path again, Paul! So sad that there’s only 8 more walks to go 😢. I’m still preparing for my journey. Loving the day walks that you’ve been doing. The backpack looks easier to manage 😊. Also, I hadn’t realised that you don’t like filming when others are around, I thought you were trying to respect other people’s privacy 😂. Look forward to seeing your next video 😊
@pilgrimpaul77986 ай бұрын
Yes I am also feeling sadness and trepidation about coming to the end. When are you starting? Yes the day pack is a lot more back friendly. I do enjoy the camping and the sense of adventure I get from going away for a few days.
