Sweden Has Officially Joined NATO, What's Next?

Today, we discuss Sweden joining NATO and the impact that can have on Europe, Russia, and the world. Over the past couple of years, Sweden has been in the process of joining the Northern Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO. The road has been bumpy though, as NATO members Hungary and Turkey first blocked Sweden's accession into the alliance due to diplomatic disputes. Neighboring country Finland also experienced issues, but was able to resolve them a lot quicker than Sweden, allowing the country to join the alliance in April of 2022. It wasn't until last week that Sweden was finally able to join NATO, becoming its 32nd member. In this video, we go over the process and the effects this may have on nations across the world. Good to be in Nato. We do have the biggest Navy in the Baltic sea so that is a thing. We also have the island of Gotland so Nato now have full control of the Baltic sea.

7:32 um actually in a treaty between Austria and the Soviets or Russia in exchange for the Soviet union to not attack Austria would not join NATO. Hope this helps

I usually dont comment on youtube but i needed this said. The only reason i stopped watching AdizzPro is cus he time and time again just says incorrect stuff and then factorns it into his scenarios. I feel like he should be more researched since he literly says this to thousands of people. 2 things I wanna say that i got irritated on in this video. First of all, Finland isnt at all as strong as you think. Like at all. Denmark is literly stronger than Finland(I am not Danish btw so dont try and "harass" me). The only reason u think FInland is trong is cus they have 900 000 reserve soldiers. This is cus they count reserves diffrently. Ex, 10 000+ people go through Swedish military training every year but Sweden doesnt count those as reserves, Finland would have. Every single country in the world could get soldiers if a war started, every single one. If u say Finland is stronger than ex Denmark again cus of soldiers. They have the same population so that doesnt even make sense. If you compare to ex the Netherlands, The Netherlands have about 18 million people so even tho they have a low amount of reserves they could get ALOT more soldiers than FInland could ever dream of. The amount of reserves a country has means absolutly nothing. Like nothing at all. Second of all. Do you even know what the suwalki gap is? Swedens accession to NATO is very very important because of this. Every single war scenario(by NATO not some done by random ass people) saw the Baltics falling within weeks and some even days to Russia because supplies couldnt get in. With Sweden in NATO the Baltic sea is basically a NATO lake. The country who controls Gotland controls the Baltic Sea, it is referred to as The Unsinkable Carrier. Now Kaliningrad is insted surrounded by NATO and will be hard for Russia to get supplies into. And btw due to NATO promising and having to defend every single country the would have to waste thousands of men trying to defend the Suwalki gap(this is without Sweden) even tho it eventually will fall anyways. This is all I wanted to say, no hate btw. No shit that ur not gonna trust some random ass person in the comments but make sure to research these things ASAP. As I said at the start the reason i stopped watching you was cus u simply didnt know enough to do this(im not saying i do either), i still stand by this statement. The only reason i watched this video was cus yes I am from Sweden so it popped up on my recommended page.

I personally am really unsure about if you meant to point it out as MP (manpower wise) since you said Creator said something about it. If it is not that I am quite sure Finland would win because it has been preparing for Russian invasion for a long time, it has by most artillery in western Europe. With Sweden joining NATO Russia would actually care because Russia had officially besides its kaliningrad and St Petersburg officially lost access to the Baltic Sea before Sweden they still had but Russia can no longer cut off and have NATO not supply the Baltic states now nato in case of war with Russia will have continuous supply of the baltics because of Sweden's Navy and stuff like that so yeah Russia they officially lost access to the Baltic Sea
