The King or Crown Princess do not ‘lead’ the country, as they have no political power, do not vote, and only represent Sweden at state visits etc. Sweden is led by its Prime Minister and his/her Government, as well as the Parliament.

She's definitely a improvement over their current king. She reminds me of our royal family here in Norway. Her mental problems reminds me of our kings granddaughter and her (our kings granddaughters) father. Watch her speech on her fathers funeral. As for Victorias choice of a commoner as a partner. Well our own king threatened to renounce his title as crown prince if he couldn't marry our current queen back in the day. Our current crown prince married a woman who not only was a commoner, but had been divorced, but had a child already with a man who was in jail for drug related crimes. And our kings oldest child and daughter has married a artist, then divorced him after having children with him, then he committed suicide, now she's about to marry a afro-american/black american who's a self proclaimed shaman (and controversial due to breaking Norwegian laws, as we don't allow people to claim that you can heal something that you haven't proven scientific that you can, nor discourage people from seeking medical help from scientific western medicine. Given that our monarchs technically is also head of our state church that whole thing can be a bit awkward... Still, that whole royal family is just some of the most down to earth and kind people on this planet, seeing people for who *they* are on the inside rather than superficial things. The Kings granddaughter is a skilled artist by the way, I love watching her work on Instagram. Anyway, all of that is a tangent. I'm just looking forward to the next generation of nordic monarchs, they're just all really inspiring.

@@xaoz2362 I'm guessing that you're not Swedish? He's... Controversial... Basically picture a old school slightly creepy upper class guy... Partying with strippers, not necessarily bad pr say, but add to that him just not really getting everyday people and making quite a few questionable choices. You probably know the type. Every family got one. Someone that's not evil or anything but just creepy and perhaps a bit dumb or selfish or something. He had sex parties in a underground club hosted by a mafia boss, with the king there the police was less likely to raid the place. Having affairs with young women while being married, abusing his position a bit, wasting money, making the secret services clean up his mess. He's not a bad man pr say, and there's definitely worse monarchs out there. But he's more of the slightly embarrassing slightly creepy uncle or something that is a part of the family but someone you deal with because you have to rather than someone you're proud of being associated with. Not exactly who you want representing your country. But also not bad enough to justify abolishing the monarchy or anything. Just, you know... At least that's my impression from here in Norway... Our monarchs are more relatable. Part of the difference is that Sweden still has a aristocracy, while Norway doesn't. Also, he have different values from todays generation. But yeah, he's just a average monarch. So getting a new Swedish queen every bit as amazing as any other royal in Europe will be nice. :-) She's just as amazing as anyone in the Norwegian monarchy. That's for sure.

Here in Finland, Crown Princess Victoria is also very much loved. I think she is one of the greatest rolemodels for girls. And her daughter Estelle will be amazing as well. Seeing that she takes it seriously as well. You did not show that picture of her when she was battling anorexia. I think that point she was the lowest weight ever, almost skeleton. But I am happy that she overcame by it and is much better now. And I remember watching her wedding through tv live. She was so beautiful and they looked so happy.

@@amc5936 I don't know but I think most others royal families have been forgotten by people because the British one is the one that most people understand or care about since they speak English all the time. Another reason why might be because royal families have little to no input in how the country is ruled so they aren't actually needed but since we and the other countries in Europe that have royal families, have had them for many years so it would be weird to us if we didn't have royal families anymore so now royal families are mostly a symbol for their country to the world and since most people in the world speak English, they are the most known royal family in the world since everyone/most people knows English so most people have the energy to try to understand them

HRH Crown Princess Victoria presents herself with sincerity; she has true etiquette and courtesy. I believe that people who take their time learning subjects in school, do learn a subject well enough to practice and apply the subject in their life. People who learn fast, learn a school subject to pass a test, but fast learners forget the subject after taking a test about the subject. Fast learners do not apply their schooling to life. Crown Princess Victoria is well skilled in keeping files and records in respective order (she administers to working office machines, copy machines and computers in keeps things in alpha-numeric order; she and her staff keep each other informed of upcoming events) and she is well skilled in greeting people, administering to retain information about properly accommodating life as a potential Queen. She is prompt and attentive. She always dresses herself according to the event she is attending.

Point of order, though I'm sure someone else has pointed it out already -- Prince Daniel won't be King Daniel one day. "King" as a title outranks "Queen", so you can't have the ruling monarch's spouse with a title that outranks their own, particularly when they were born into royalty rather than married into it.
