Me too! My Goldie, Sally, unfortunately passed away in March last year, at 14 ½, but she had still enjoyed a winter of collecting snow on her fur to bring back home 🙂

A tip I learned (a few) years ago for the pan on the open fire - smear it with washing up liquid before putting it on the fire. The soap bakes on and the layer makes washing off the black charred stuff a bit easier 😊 Apparently it does work! Yours and Ash's storytelling and video work are brilliant. Great getting to join the journey!

I have been chilling with two friends the day after my wife’s funeral, shooting the shit, drinking beer and whisky all evening, too tired to sleep properly and now I am watching this at 11:30pm in Kenilworth. CJ and Lance magically appear and lifted my mood tremendously so THANK YOU from the heart of my bottom (sic) and all the best in your journey whatever that may involve. Love your videos. Suggestion.. Next time you clean your pots, leave a soapy film on the outside of them. The thick, dried soap will make it a LOT easier to clean the soot off.. Cheers, Dennis.

That Fox hunting was a magnificent sighting, i have tracked Tigers Leopards Bears and foxes over the years in a Tiger Reserve in India, the Fox was Beautiful, would love to see a Fox hunting like that, well done for capturing it 👌👍😊

Roof vents are all pathetic in the winter. I spent dozens of hours redesigning one to remove draughts and cold bridges. It now seals pretty well and it's insulated as well as the rest of the roof.

If you cover the outside of a pan in washing up liquid when in use on an open fire it ensures the black char is easily removed buddy.

Superb video as always. There's a lot to be said for the peace of the frozen north and wandering down a snowy track with the snow crunching under your feet. Glad you managed to have a proper break there. Like the Lance ice lollies made from icicles :) Can you get a mini snow making machine to make a bit of snow for him in the Portuguese winter, as he clearly loves shoving his head in the stuff? :)
