Very cool! I came here looking for ways to change-up our Thanksgiving dinner after a very long period of grieving the loss of our Dad and brother. I'm going to get my sons involved by asking them to build 3 of these stoves to cook side dishes on. Break out the cast iron! Momma's on fire to spread some happiness with her outdoor cooking skills! Very cool! Many Thanks from Michigan, USA! If it wasn't 10° right now, I'd be out there practicing today! 😊

Excellent video, nice use of the birch too. One thought though, instead of utilizing the small rocks on the top, how about cutting notches in the top of the logs to act as a stove grate and exhaust, then no small rocks even needed.

Looks good, and that birch had some nice spalting to it. It would have made a nice kuksa. How long did the Swedish torch burn for? Adding the side hole was an interesting idea, but do you think it made the torch burn out too fast? Spam is food of the gods, I always get spam musabi when I am in Hawaii!
@KentSurvival7 жыл бұрын
I heard how big spam is in Hawaii, wonder if that comes from the naval presence and spam being used in the war, thats why it became popular aver here. There is more of that birch ;) IK must admit I lost track of time with all the filming etc, must have been 40 mins ish

It would be better if you had a Scotch eyed auger 1" x3"s long that way you can drill through the center of the log then in the side to connect the holes and lite it
