There definitely is some psychological issues with both. It's sad that Kirat shows no introspection into what role she played in this situation. She was a victim its not her fault she just needs to recognize her vulnerabilities & weaknesses that led to her being a compliant victim. If she does not she will find herself in a similar situation. I hope she gets therapy & have a long successful fulfilling life of her choosing.

Yeah and I bet you feel very lucky when you get to see them in person 😮 I haven't seen a doctor in years,since way before the pandemic. My surgery regularly sends out messages saying don't call us, and we won't call you, we are very busy. Busy doing what, I am not sure.

I understand that people are vulnerable but to fall in love and get “engaged” to someone you have never met, never video called and barely heard speak, for the best part of a decade is ludicrous, someone from her family should have given her head a wobble. If I start chatting with someone online and they refuse to call, video call or visit after a maximum of two weeks, then I dump them. I think it's unfair to blame someone who's a victim in this. A well-meaning person would believe a lot of it, and once you're in love it's really hard to let go, especially if the other party does exactly what's needed to give hope to you. It's horrible. It's so easy to say many things, but it's such an elaborate scheme she fallen for. Something needs to change, all sorts of identity scams are happenning and they won't go away, and while technology advances - we don't we're the same humans. Regulations need to be created. I kind of see how she was victimised and not that any one should care about my opinion at all but laws should be created against this kind of thing just for the sake of the people getting cat fished, You cant judge to harshly its rather unfair to as every ones mind works differently, there is no justice these days in situations such as this one, I mean I know there is more awareness now about it that's for sure especially due to cases like this being shown on Netflix and the TV show Catfish as well👍
