Steve, I am the parent that cried at sound check for this song at your opening tour in St. George. As I explained, I cried because I was missing my brother that just passed in September from complications from COVID. This song reminded me of him, but the way you played it definitely brought a sweet, ethereal sound to it. My brother was a recovering addict & was doing well in his life the past few years. He always attended my daughters performances & had attended the last time you were on tour & she was able to participate. My daughter also wept the first night she left the stage after performing. We both missed him, but above all, felt his presence with us that night. Thank you for this gift. Thank you for the wondrous talent you & John have been blessed with & thank you for sharing it with us. I know many times your music has uplifted me. Thank you again for giving my daughter the opportunity to perform with you guys. We share your common faith and know that the Lord works miracles thru your music! May you be blessed on your tour & may others be blessed by your talents! P.S Awesome cello for this video...one of the 38...Lol! What is this one's name?

I was in my 20s when the original Sweet Child was a hit (I'm a grandmother now :D), and my grown son knows it's one of my all-time favorite songs. When he told me, "Mom, you gotta hear this," I was prepared to be unimpressed. Now I've just finished listening for the third time... It's just beautiful! Truly stunning. I love it! One of the things I always love is watching musicians play with feeling. Moving with the music, smiling, crying, letting the music's emotions come through you. Watch a singer hit that high note and smile. Steve moving and smiling as he plays. You can't help but feel that emotion right along with them.
@HappyOddGirl3 жыл бұрын
That was what drew me to their music as well - how they play with such depth of feeling. That's what I admire most in musicians. Virtuoso musicians are two-a-penny, but people who play with deep and genuine feeling are very, very rare. And for me, TPG are the best of the best.

The Piano Guys' videos and arrangements are nearly always some of the most beautiful I've ever seen on the internet, both visually and aurally. Looking at you today Jon and Steven (I know you're far from alone in the team, but you're the personification of it), I realize that I see you as fathers in a way: I have a deep sympathy and empathy for you and I think back to all the wonder you gave me during my adolescence and the influence in terms of inspiration that you had on the young pianist I was, so thank you for these 11 years of human adventure with its laughter and tears, its ups and downs... 🙏 Even if today I no longer share your faith, I'll be forever grateful for the emotions and sonorities, the beauty and joy that you've transmitted to the world at the beginning of this 21st century. 🤗 _A French fan since the first notes of "Michael Meets Mozart", 10 years ago (no, for real, it was with Jarrod Radnich's "Pirates of the Caribbean", but as it's no longer on your channel..! 😉)_

I have never left a comment on a video before, but I had to because I am absolutely blown away. Sweet Child is one of my all time favourite rock out songs and I think this is the best cover of a song I have ever heard in my life. Bravo!
