Mick never wanted Brian to leave the band, and Steve once said that it was Andy who wanted him out “for whatever reason.” Andy says it was all three of them, deflecting guilt now that the others aren’t around to contradict him. Brian was going off the rails but if he’d stayed and got more support he may have turned things round. Brian had issues after discovering how he’d been left and abandoned by his real mother in a Glasgow hospital as a baby, but leaving the band sent him into further depression.

It is great to see that these guys still have such a strong international following. I've listened to their music for years and they're one of those bands whose music just seems to get better as the years go by. The vocal arrangements in this particular song are fantastic. I was twice at a live concert with my father and this is my father's favorite band. I am 35 years old and he was so sad when the band members gradually died. he is a drummer and told me that Mick Tucker was one of the best drummers of the 70s. it made me and him happy that we could see andy scott 2 times live. with his band, of course
