This is a great album. Great tune! I'd say dig into the album "nothin' matters and what if it did". There's 1 hit on it "ain't even done with the night", but the rest of the album is great.

Nice.. You guys should listen to Paul Weller "You do Something to me" classic from the 90s.. he's a legend! He's known as "The Mod Father" (As in "The God Father") cos he was the new wave of Mods in the 90s harking back to the Mods of the 60s (as in Mods and Rockers) her in England anyway.. Rockers had leather jackets and Triumphs or Harley's like James Dean Style and Mods were like Mohair Suits sharp dressed (like Clapton in the 80s style) in fact Paul Weller started his career in a Band called "The Style Council" Who were more punk Rock Legends in the 70s&80s and then he went Solo and reintroduced himself in a TOTALLY different genre! He writes sings, plays Piano amd Hammond Organ and Rhythm and Lead Guitar! He's a bloody genius! Very talented man! (There's a great live performance of him with the Late Amy Winehouse on "Jules Hollands New Year's even Hootenanny" which was a TV special that attracted a LOT of greats every year! Anyhow He play d with Amy Winehouse and Jules Holland (also a legendary musician) both playing piano and Amy Winehouse and Paul Weller singing 3 or 4 Classic song Like "I heard it through the Grapevine", "Don't Go to Strangers" and Some Billy Holiday I believe it was, back in 2006, not that long before Amy Passed really.. She ALSO made her Debut on TV on Jules Hollands show in 2004! Playing a Fender Stratocaster and Singing Jazz! Amazing also to check out!! Anyway GREAT artist Paul Weller! CHECK him out! Amazing Songs! His Best work in my opinion and many (aside from the live performance on Jules Hollands "New Year's Hootenanny" with Amy Winehouse, was his Album "Stanley Road" From 1992 or 1994... The genre is called "Americana." A type of rock and roll that makes you want to , well, road trip like you said. Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen and others play this genre. John Cougar (Sorry, I never could get with the Mellencamp. He'll always be John Cougar to me. I know Mellencamp is his actual name but he started out in music as just John Cougar) Was one of the greatest at it. Love lots of his music.

I've been a big fan of his since "JACK AND DIANE" first hit the radio back in the '80s. He has so many great songs... you can stay quite busy reacting to him. So many. Mellancamp's drummer Kenny Aronoff is a badass drummer n never gets any recognition. He's also played/toured with Bob Seger, John Fogerty, Skyyard just to name a few. He's recently touring with with the Smashing Pumpkins. He also plays in a band called Chickenfoot that you should check out. It consists of Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony {Van Halen bass player, Chad Smith {drummer from Chili Peppers} and Joe Satriani on guitar.
