T3 I can tell you are an excellent game teacher, thanks for clearly breaking down such a heavy game. I’ve had my eye on this one and may need to back it. Cautious optimism here too but this is reassuring. Do you think it seems worth it for solo only?

That's a great question! Solo for this one is superrrrr satisfying, so if you are looking for a heavy Euro to solo, I'd def recommend it. I find that, while I do love playing bigger box games with others, I don't have the motivation to play them solo over smaller games most of the time. Sweetlands was definitley an exception to that for me! 😁 Dunno if you saw already too, but I gave a full solo playthrough if that helps you get a better idea of what that looks like exactly! 🤗

@@tabletoptokki WELL that’s perfect haha I’ll check that out next thank you! Also that’s funny, I find the opposite for myself. Lighter games in groups since others I know aren’t as into the hobby, heavy games myself when I can take my time to dig in to the strategy.

The solo mode is just too reach a number of points or do you play against an autuma? From what you said, I understood it's the first option

Yes-- currently, the goal is to reach 250 points or 300 for a big victory! This may change for the final release though, since this is just a preview copy. :)

Very fair! Hope you still get to try it at some point-- Beyond the aesthetics, the mechanics are super fun and provide a really great challenge too! :)
