Ingredients
Water - 500 ml
Chopped raw mangoes - 500 gm
Mustard oil - 3 tablespoons
Hing - 1/2 teaspoon
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1 tablespoon
Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Jaggery - 250 gm
Fennel seeds - 1 tablespoon
Preparation
In a saucepan boil chopped raw mangoes in water. Keep aside.
In a pan heat oil. Add hing, mustard seeds, turmeric powder and chilli powder. Mix well. Add salt and jaggery. Mix well till the jaggery melts. Add the boiled raw mangoes. Mix well and allow to boil. Add fennel seeds and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes till the mixture thickens.
