Sweet Memory Waltz

Hello friends and fellow fans of the incredible Byron Berline. Today’s #waltzwednesday is another tribute to the recently departed legend of the fiddle, the beautiful Sweet Memory Waltz.
I must admit some confusion, however. I learned this as Sweet Memories and it’s sorta similar but not the same and it seems to be of Herman Johnson origin and has a super funky extra couple of beats in the B part - does anyone know what I’m talking about?
Anyway, that’s not important right now. I went back to a live Byron video (just the fiddle - no Vince Gill warbling) and relearned it the way he wrote it and here it is for all of you. I think it’s just beautiful and my gratitude for his contributions to the music is unending.
