I have a blue enamel Ford J Car that I got not too long ago in a case that came with other redlines. It's darker than ones I've seen online but the case the J Car was in came from Indiana.

I’m 63 and had a cheetah when I was a kid. I grew up in Indiana and moved to Fla for 3 years and left in 89 cause of divorce and ex wife took kids and my hot wheels collection back to Indiana and they got put up in her grandmother attic when I came back had forgotten she had them and now lost. I was watching video and the python came up and I’m like no that’s a cheetah never knew the name was changed. I’d give anything to have my childhood hot wheels back.

How did you get it? They were never sold in stores so you must have known someone in the family that worked for Mattel and mailed it to you or visited on a trip.

@@MrWolfSnack either I got it from store or track set or traded with someone I remember calling it a cheeta as a kid u knew the name of them

i think that i put more miles on my Hotwheels cars, and to be fair.......Matchbox too, than i have on my real ones since then. ....but i would come here just to hear the kickass drumming in the pseudo Wipe Out soundtrack !

I'm checking my sweet 16's now to see if I have any that are rare lol

Same here. I have tons of duplicates I have to re-check now as this guy's videos have information in them I never knew before, even from visiting dozens of redlines sites.

This was a very informative series. How about the value of the buttons? Are the cars better sold with the button or each separately?
@MrWolfSnack2 ай бұрын
People that collect the cars usually do not want the buttons. People that collect the buttons will already have the car and want the buttons. Better to sell separately. The buttons usually have not much value unless they have some weird anomaly or if they were from before the recall that was issued by Shell gas stations when kids were having their fingers cut open on the lapel point on the button. Later buttons removed the lapel point to the button and left it smooth as a quick fix, and then eventually they made them out of plastic and eliminated the shirt attachment prong entirely once they expended the supply of tin buttons..

I feel bad why did the one car have to be stolen stolen in my city that don't make Bakersfield look good LOL 😂
