Would this base work for incorporating fruit? I'm thinking about experimenting with sweet/spicy pineapple habanero BBQ for some grilled chicken or porkchops

For sure. I like peach, personally. Or pineapple.

So glad I found your channel, I made the jalapeño cream sauce which was WOW on the taste buds. Look forward this summer to making this & other deliciously HOT but eatable foods you create. Thank you. I also appreciate that you encourage us to make it our own but helping us get to the awesome results.

There are different ways to do it, but I like to start about half way through, just a bit, then a nice slather at the end.

This looks like a good BBQ sauce. I do something similar except I like smoky and earthy tones in my BBQ. 😝 I use chipotle pepper, molasse (a drop of liquid smoke to cheat because I live in an appartment so I can't have a BBQ) and some smoky paprika. For the earthyness it is all in the spices: I use thyme, oregano, ground mustard seeds, coriander seeds and black pepper corns. For the salt, I want a bit of umami so I use soy sauce.

Thanks for the detailed information. I've long wanted to make sauces but it has seemed to be overwhelming. If one were to make this on a charcoal grill with oak wood - do you think that smoky and slightly earthy flavors would get into the sauce at all?
@ChiliPepperMadness
@ChiliPepperMadness Жыл бұрын
Absolutely, you'll get a nice kiss of smoke that translates to the finished sauce. I smoke peppers all the time for this. You can smoke them just a bit for a lighter smoke, or go heavy. Let me know how it turns out for you. It's also a great technique to smoke the peppers, then dehydrate to make smoky chili powder

Sup mike, never thought to add fresh chilies to my BBQ sauce🤔, I can incorporate easy.. think in general I'll use jalapeno to start, I blend but want bits onions .... Gave some great option ideas, I'm gonna play with it, I always divide anyway, like adding more seasoning for grilling, but normal as BBQ dipping sauce, I know I'll be in trouble playing with BBQ sauce🥺, tyvm tc
