This is a delicious sev with golden raisins and just the right amount of sweetness, it's for sure going to bring back memories of those Eid days when grandma or mom would have it ready in the morning.

Thank you for this recipe, must get prepared for Eid and I always like my Seviyan/Semeyan/Tambi with chai, so yummy. Here in New Zealand, all the families make the Seviyan on Eid.

Its day 25 Ramadan today, about 4-5 days to Eid. This Eid is called Eid-ul-Fitr (after Ramadan fasting) and the second Eid is Eid-ul-Adha (after completion of Haj).

@@mohabatkhanmalak1161 Last Ramadan I remember was a few years ago with my Muslim neighbor (who moved to a larger house) and it was later in the year. I guess it's like Easter, it falls almost everywhere. 😍😂

Salaam alayki Raihana, Eid Mubarak. InshAllah trying this recipe today for Eid breakfast. Just one clarification in the description it reads 1tbsp ghee but you used 2tblp. Can I use some milk mixed with water to cook the sev?

Salaams Would love to know how the Mitahii turned out and no don’t add water to the sec as you want them to be crunchy not soggy and soft

My mom used to do it for eid but with milk in it. So many memories. There is another recipe that looks like this one but with rice. Do we do it the same way (replacing vermicelli by rice)??
