Its a crime that this band weren't pushed harder and farther than they were! They were every bit as good as the classic bands of the 70s. Their influence on other bands of the time and the bands to come is UNDENIABLE! Brian's story is so tragic. He was one of the best frontmen ever. Whoever kicked him up in '74 and contributed to his alcoholism should rot in cold dark hell......

Egal was Sweet für Songs veröffentlicht haben, jeder Titel hat bis heute noch das "gewisse Etwas"...auch nach über 40 Jahren. Andy Scott ist und bleibt für mich einer der besten Gitarristen, die ihr Handwerk von der "Pike auf gelernt" haben. Mick stood out and could play them drums. Many say that he was one of the best ever out of the UK, and I would have to agree. This is an awesome song, but the best part is at the end where they cut it short. I remember when fox on the run was released in 75 when I was 11, they played it on the radio it seamed like 24/7 lol

For those who observe that Sweet were ahead of their time, they were indeed. In the rock industry, they are recognised and well respected - not least as a major influence on the NWOBHM bands of the late 70s - early 80s.
