First of all: Brian with the scratchy, mean voice is the best Brian! Then yes, gorgeous blond hair. Like one of my schoolmates in middle school: she had it golden blond, like Brian's. I was so jealous, I was dark brown!!! I would have wanted to scalp her, especially as she was also obnoxious...(and not even beautiful, if they want, short, short legs...Brian was lovely). She put a sort of curse on me: I'd get white hair very soon...The "curse" came true: when I was 17 I got my first white hair...She did me a favour...now that I'm 50 it's as white as snow...and therefore blond!!! 😂 Joking aside, Brian was embarrassingly handsome as a young man, the last years of his life, a man who had the courage to show himself sick and helpless, who after heart attacks and heart surgery, had totally lost the use of speech and had to learn to speak from scratch as a child, in two years...I don't know how many people would have had his strength... Highest admiration❤

The Sweet were a fantastic band. I was born in 1963 and was 10 when Blockbuster came out. Each and everyone of them were talented musicians and they had a unique sound all of their own. So sad that that only one remains, Andy Scott. But their music will be around forever.

Also born in 1960. My first Sweet album was "Give Us A Wink" because I thought "Action" was an absolute hard rock masterpiece. I fell in love with all the other songs on that album as well, and went on to acquire all of their albums, even though they were hard for me to afford at that time. Yep! Great use of the entire set with maximum impact; something most drummers these days completely miss but also what made Bonham so good. Also notice the 20" bass drums for punch. 22" And up are too large to boom properly in my experience.

Sweet were also my first favourite group. The music and the performances have definitely stood the test of time .
