The portraits at 4:20 (tehehe) have that timeless, classy look to it which I love. My old B&W Polaroids have also got that sepia look to them after less than 2 years so hopefully the new chemistry lasts much longer

Because that’s what it means to be a photographer. You know how to meter light. Has nobody ever had a photography class???

Did your images turn sepia yet. Mine did. I shot some of the new stuff 2 weeks ago and i just looked at them today. Nice and tanned they were. I keep them in the little boxes from the polaroid site.

Mine have not actually, that's really odd. I have mine in binders at the moment. I'll keep an eye and follow up with you if they do change though

You know what would be great? If Polaroid came out with a firmware update for the Now+ to fix the exposure issues.

I know right, as far as I'm aware you can't firmware upgrade it though (would be so simple with the app too!!)

It hurts to see that NOW+ haha but fun idea with the red filter. I didn’t even think of that. Going to need to give that a try!

Damn I have never metered with my Polaroid, but after this I think I have to at least try. The shots after metering were so good!

there's a few liquor stores in Danbury CT who carry the Bock. (the one by the mall and airport is my go to) It's so essential because it's my favorite beer lol.

Somehow, I wonder if it's not just all their cameras that are broken 😁 I know that Eve&Steve do get good results out of the stuff, but they get all their cameras fixed beforehand by The Instantcameraguy in Australia.

Yeah idk, this is my second Now+ (I'll tell the story in my review) and it's basically the same issue. So many people have the same user experience (despite Polaroid simps telling me it's a skill issue lol)

I think people really want Polaroid to work like they used to- but they just don’t. Their new cameras all have issues. Their film has issues. They’re just too costly shoot and to have a photo simply not work as intended adds insult to injury. My Polaroid camera just sits rotting away because the disappointment in their results keeps me from buying more film. The chemistry should spread evenly. Not spreading evenly shouldn’t even happen. The product shouldn’t have launched with this issue. Feeding two frames through simultaneously and then getting jammed shouldnt happen. It didn’t back in the day and they included more photos per cartridge! If I hear clean the rollers to make it work one more time…. I’ve never had any dirt come off the rollers when I cleaned them. The rollers are not the issue. It’s the new thickness of the chemistry pouch. The film never seems to be able to get enough light. The colours are always muted. They call it an esthetic but really it’s just not a daylight balanced film. If they could produce what they actually claim you get from their cameras, I’d try again. I’m just waiting for them to improve at this point.

Agreed, I bought some Polaroid packs to do a test before going on a project that I wanted to sell the results as series. I'm glad I didn't do it. A few months after I took the photos they just faded and disappeared. Polaroid is just a gimmick that costs a lot.

Two windmills not far from the Hollandia Nurseries. The "Happy Landings Protected Open Space" on route 25 in Brookfield. Still not loving the new Polaroid film. Uneven exposure and developing. They should bring back the Polaroid pack film!

will look into Happy Landings, thanks for mentioning it. And yeah, it's still not perfect. I definitely don't expect it to be perfect anytime soon either unfortunately, that's kinda why I'm still not back on the train. I'll be back after they put out new and improved color film

I don’t understand why the new Polaroid pictures so much worse than the Polaroid pictures of old? I’ve had a Polaroid camera in my life since the 1960’s. I still have pictures from those decades in my photo albums and all of them have better image quality than what I see in all these KZbin videos of the new Polaroid cameras and film. I’m disappointed because, while I would love to get a new Polaroid, I’m not willing to accept the crappie image quality I’m seeing.

Why so many people interested in Polaroid but not LIGHT METERS?!?! So perplexed. I mean, I guess young people are too lazy to get involved in the process?? They just want to point-and-shoot? I’m a PHOTOGRAPHER, I don’t “snap a photo”, I take my time to “craft an image”. It’s messy, it takes time and it doesn’t always LOOK COOL. Guess that’s why all I have are stacks of printed work instead of a KZbin channel!

Bro it's a polaroid. A polaroid that is meant to have its own light meter with which it is meant to adjust the exposure automatically. Using a light meter with a regular non instant manual camera is fine and all but damn it just does not make sense with what a polaroid should be. Also your comment reads like a copypasta.
