I just bought the Polaroid Now yesterday and iType film from Walmart. Most photos look underexposed. Hating it. Hoping I learn something from this video and do better.

Yep. And this is on auto focus. Brand new. Extreamly over exposed. Cant even see anything. Indoor and gloomy day.

Honestly, Soviet lenses are some of my favorite. The Helios 44, Jupiter 8, Industar 50 and 61.... So many great lenses for dirt cheap.

I have about 40 +/- rolls of 35 mm and 120 films that need to be developed. This video is the reason I'm now going to just hold onto it, and when I have the spare money, buy a kit to develop myself. The only thing I'm gonna miss is professional feedback from some of the developing companies. Now I will have to upload to the web and be.... criticized AAAHHHHHH!

I had shot the 35mm Phoenix in half frame and needless to say, the grain size is way more pronounced than (insert joke here) but I dig it as an aesthetic. However being in 120 film on the other hand, from these shots, does a good job compensating the grain and retaining more details with those crazy halations! (When I compare to my shots on half-frame.... along with my crappy ranging finding skill...)
@SweetLouPhotography13 күн бұрын
Yeah, I really dig the film in general, heavy grain or lighter grain. And you know I'm all about those halations lol

Have you ever tried out Sony's Focus Map feature? I've found that it is WAY easier to use with vintage lenses than normal focus peaking, especially on a smaller screen. Your mileage may vary, but I'd definitely give it a try if you haven't yet.

Stop saying it is expensive. It is more or less the same price it was in 1970 in updated currency value. That's why not every family had a camera nor were filming every month. Cheap video does not make this expensive.
