You have got to be kidding me! This was the BEST print n cut tutorial I have seen on KZbin and I have seen A LOT! I've had my Cricut for almost 3 years and was considering selling it because I can't seem to get anything right with it! I didn't even know I had to do a calibration first and that I could select certain print options. As a mom of a toddler with very little time and sleep. Thanks so much for this thorough tutorial.

Hello. This tutorial was super helpful. I saw how you updated the printer settings (I believe on a Mac). I have the same printer and also have a Mac and tried to update the print settings, but for some reason when I print through Cricut's Design Space - it will not use my last saved print settings (with higher quality) and will not load from the rear tray. How did you open up and save your print settings on a Mac? Was it from Word or another program?

This tutorial was incredibly helpful thank you. I have a different problem I can't seem to correct. While using Cricut clear sticker paper, my designs print successfully however, when I load my mat, the scanner gets stuck on "Scanning". I don't get an error message its just stuck. I have an explore and a maker and same thing is happening with both. Its just stuck and does move forward to cutting. Do you have any advise. I'm at my wits end. Thank you!

What setting would you use with a maker to cut labels but keeping the backing intact? I've tried washi settings, sticker settings, using less default settings but I am still either cutting all the way through or not enough for the top. Please help?

What material are you using? You may need to do some test cuts on that material to find the perfect amount of pressure.

Great video. Can you do one on how to get the white offset in the shape of the words in design space? I see alot of videos using photoshop and I think Inkscape to do that, but can you do everything in design space?

Cricut doesn't have an offset feature yet, unfortunately. There are a few ways to try to "hack" it but I think the Inkscape or photoshop ways look best. :)
