They had a room with other instruments…but you’re watching this on a Guitar KZbin channel, thus the guitars are the focus instrumentally. Although I did peak in on the pianos and drums.

Wow nifty. I'll pass though. 3,500+ right handed electric guitars to 130 left handed? They aren't even trying.
@letsbuildaguitar92302 жыл бұрын
I am wondering if you have found a company that does a great job with having left handed guitars available? I’ve built two lefties so far. When I go to music stores, I’ve been intentional about looking to see if lefties are on display, but I rarely come across them or if I do, they have one or two options, otherwise it’s special order. Wondering what you’ve found and maybe I can pass that info on!
@twintriode2 жыл бұрын
@@letsbuildaguitar9230 bout the best place I've found, and I use that loosely is southpaw guitars in Houston Tx. Generally I just go in with a guitar in mind and shop for that guitar. Years ago I wanted a PRS McCarty, that purchase took me to some music store in Baltimore. They were the one's that had the guitar. Sweetwater and Musicians Friend tend to stock a lot of Schecter....not interested! Lots-and-lots of "not in stock, but we can get it"
@letsbuildaguitar92302 жыл бұрын
@@twintriode I'm sure this has to be extremely frustrating for you. I think about my lefty friends often when I go into guitar stores and only see right hand guitars....not everyone wants to play with a Hendrix style Strat. or Doyle Bramhall.
@twintriode2 жыл бұрын
@@letsbuildaguitar9230 Actually its not that bad. My peak time of playing was in the 80 - 90's. During that time I still had local mom and pop music stores and I could always find something. When the big box stores came in i.e. Guitar Center, and Sam Ash not only did they run the smaller stores out of business, they had a big box model, and it didn't include left handed players. Fortunately by this time the internet was around and that is where I would buy. Now that I'm in my 50's. I'm only hitting bucket list guitars. The one's I could not afford when I was younger. I bought a LP Special last fall (not really a money thing there more of an availability/P-90 thing), next is a ES-335, and then a D-35. I MIGHT get a custom shop 62 Telecaster Custom. Those double bound kind. I use to have a 80's Tokai replica that I loved that got stolen in St. Louis while in-route to California. I had an attachment to that funky little guitar, but a Custom Shop Tele like that would be over $4k, and I just don't believe Fender makes a guitar worthy of that price, or I find it hard to justify. But I was lucky I guess. New left handed people are fairly screwed. LOL! The only good buy I got from a big box was a used Rickenbacker (mint) 370/12 in fieglo. $900. I sold it though. I could stand that Rickenbacker would not stamp that damn "R" tailpiece upside right for left handed people, and all that guitar could do was Byrds songs, but plugged into my '66 Super Reverb it really did sound like Mr. Tamborine man. Its the only guitar that sounded the same as having a vintage guitar without being one.
@letsbuildaguitar92302 жыл бұрын
@@twintriode I didn't even realize that about the Rickenbacker R not being the way it should be...Crazy! Sounds like you have some nice guitars to chose from now! Stay strong and keep up the fight!
