The machine gun triggering on the drums is pretty bad, and there’s lots of mis-triggering on the cymbals. Hum. I think I’ll stick with my hybrid kit and Superior Drummer 3

I noticed that too. Hopefully will get better in the future, but as is stands now, can't hold a candle to my 'real' K's and A's, or Paiste Sigs.

I agree. Went and played a few times and way too many issues. I think they should just sell the module separately and make it compatible with several brands. That would make a much better product. The hardware is just not up to par with anything at that price point

I really like this kit and the cymbals too. Hope the cymbals will sell separately in the near future. I have the Zildjian Low80 cymbals and to be able to possibly update them would be awesome. 🎉🎉

Man this really cracks me up. it must be aimed at the well heeled hobbyist as any working drummers i know and im one of them just does not have cask lying around to afford these very expensive toys

I get that the cymbals are the main attraction, but they really need to do a better job with the sampling of the actual drums themselves. They sound worse than my Yamaha e kit from 2002

Electronic kits NEED a feature where they record the entire drumkit and let you fade it in so you get all the sympathetic resonance and room sound...Playing an e-kit sounds like they were all recorded separately. It's the uncanny valley of audio.

That exists. The Pearl Mimic Pro has multiple mics for every drum and cymbal, and it allows you to blend in room mics.

The Yamaha dtx with the tcs silicone pads are a zillion times nicer than this

They need to make a new demo, the kit has had 3 firmware updates and a sound quality update thats over 3gb. They also lowered the price 1k per kit 😆

I would love to add the cymbals to my Roland VAD kit. I can't justify moving to Zildjian's kit since I'd have to give up the Roland digital snare and hi-hats.

Once they sort out the triggering issues. I will get the module/cymbal combo (if released) and use my 50x for pads and Zildjian for cymbals.

lots of mistriggers happening here......sorry..... I also use an e kit with real shells and with electronic metal cymbals but feel like mine almost never mis-trigger. I think Zildjian still has tweaks to make here.

Pass! How about making some Zildjian cymbals that it doesn't take listening to dozens of them to find one good one. And don't call me over critical, your quality control sucks! Zildjian quality back in the 1970's was great. And I don't have to take out a second mortgage on my house to pay for them.
