I love your case especially the top being covered. I rip out those necklace holders. They come out easy, then you can put whatever you want in the lid. I wish I had taken out the center part. I may take mine apart and remove that part.

Wonderful tutorial. I have watched yours, the ones by Cherry Heart and Colorado Stitcher. Between the 3 I feel confident enough to make one. I think a stitched piece on top would be great.

Great video! I tried making one not too happy with it. I bought the case from Target and it is double layer. I ripped everything out that I could and started decorating. Had no idea what I was doing. Your video has given me a lot of ideas to possibly fix mine so I like it. I might even go on Amazon and buy one like yours and start over. Thank you for showing us how to decorate a case❤❤❤

The first one I ever did was from Target and it has no dividers. It’s fun to have them but also the blank bottom gives more room for larger things.

Thank you so much for this video!!! I have so many ideas on what I want to do because of your video!! I was also afraid to try one but now I’m not because you made it seem so easy and fun!! Can you please tell me how you made the shepherds bush tiny scissor fob? I have the pattern but don’t know how to make it that tiny. I stitch on Aida. Thank you so very much and can you please show the other side again, I think it has your name in it? I love your videos Jess!!! You are so very talented!!! ❤
@sweetwaterstitcher4 күн бұрын
Nichol Sphor made the fob for me and she stitched on 46 count. I am pretty sure the smallest on Aida you could do would be equal to 40 count if you stitched on 20 count Aida. And yes she backstitched my name on the back. She shows how she made it on one of her videos.

Thanks for sharing. Could you show how you finished the top of the inside lid? Did you remove the hooks? Did you use press board for the lower fabric part and glue the ribbon next?
@sweetwaterstitcher4 күн бұрын
I did not remove the hooks just put the fabric covered board on top. Then I put the ribbon. My piece wasn’t exact at the corners and you could see gaping which was going to bother me, that is why I layered it. I feel like there has to be a better way to trace that part but I haven’t figured that out.
@lindakenison4054 күн бұрын
@ , thanks! Fat Quarter Shop now has a stripped down version that you can decorate. It’s pretty nice for $15, only in pink.
@vickien45246 күн бұрын
You can trace the outside of the bottom and then trim it down to fit inside. Easy.

Sadly that is nothing she can control. I watch a lot of KZbin so I treated myself to ad free. Can’t recall what I pay but it’s soooo worth it. I hope it is something you can afford. My husband did it for me so I’m not sure what he did.
