For all of the regulations and rules that KZbin places on its creators, it is amazing that they seemingly have no standards at all about letting scam companies advertise on their site.
@jondoe2304 жыл бұрын
The double standard of KZbin. They dont care where money is coming from when they get paid. But will drop the hammer on channels that dare make videos KZbin arbitrary decide are bad. And different rules for different channels depending on their sub count or "clout".

Considering how many “get blue check now!” Ads that are on KZbin, I’m not surprised.
@jakerockznoodles4 жыл бұрын
@@jondoe230 it's not really a double standard, people just don't really understand KZbin's system that well. Of course, the way they treat creators is often unfair but that's because they aren't selling to you (as a viewer or producer), you are the product being sold. The ad companies are the actual consumers and KZbin work to appease their customers, as any business does. Most of what they do is actually very consistent if you keep this in mind. Ad companies at risk of pulling out because of certain kinds of content? Impose restrictions on creators. KZbinrs with more money-making potential fucking up? Probably will still sell for good money. Not those with smaller followings, though. They're dead weight, cut them down.

20 inches by 15 inches on a solar panel could reasonably be expected to produce 25 Watts, at least from Goal Zero's Nomad 100. That's just the spec I had on hand. But that's still 300 square inches, or maybe two square feet, on something that fits in your pocket, it's not going to be possible. A Samsung Note 20 Ultra with a 6.9 inch screen size has about a 6.5x3 inch face, so about 20 square inches. 20,000mAh or 20Ah isn't the full spec we need though. Most lithium batteries will come with a nominal voltage of about 3.6 or 3.7. Multiplying those numbers together will get us the Wh capacity, which is going to be around 72 to 76 ish. So 25 Watts in one hour from 2 square feet of solar panel will give 25Watthours of capacity, meaning you'd need 3 hours to fully charge a 75 ish Watthour battery with a 25W solar panel, which is also not accounting for any loss in efficiency. Now like I said, the solar panel on the battery pack itself is going to be much smaller, 20 square inches vs 300 square inches. 15 times the size gets 25 Watts, so I would doubt the single solar panel on the battery is any more than 5 Watts, likely closer to 2 or 2.5 though, which isn't going to be very efficient., so probably 1.5 Watts in average conditions. Which is going to take DAYS to fully charge the battery, not accounting for any amount of time that something is plugged into the battery and draining it.

Hey Swell, you can use solar to charge stuff very effectively. Just don't bother with power banks that have built in panels. Buy the panel separately. Get a 15w panel, they're about the footprint or a shoebox or so, maybe a bit larger, but not much. You can get little solar charge controllers and connect them to your car battery, or maybe a lipo battery for smaller size and weight. I'm pretty sure you can also get modules that will just give you USB straight from the solar panel. But I'd recommend soaking up that sunlight into a battery over the day that way you have juice at night. You can get solar panels that fold up and can be placed on your roof or boot (aka trunk). It you're happy with larger size and a bit more expense (perhaps the size of a smallish table or desk), you can get panels that will effectively charge pretty large batteries. Hope this helps. Solar power banks are a waste of time. They're just too small. But solar panels absolutely do work once you go for a larger size. Edit: also, if you're the outdoorsy type, spring for an omnicharge ultimate. They even sell solar panels which will work. These power banks aren't cheap, but they aren't cheap for a reason. It's quite possibly the last power bank you'll ever buy. They're that good.

So Lit Mobile just sent me this solar wireless battery pack. I'm excited let's see whats inside. I really like the build. Its got handgrips on the side, it's shockproof and water resistant. The power bank has twenty-thousand milliamps, which can fully charge your phone up to eight times. Its also got a convenient loop for caribiners. The back of the device we have a bunch of solar panels which can charge the battery bank in about sixty minutes. On the top of the device there are three USB ports and two of them are fast chargers. If you hit the power button two times the LED light comes on. If you hit the power button once the LED lights will tell you how much battery you have. There is a micro USB port on the side for fast charging. My favorite part of this device is that is charges my phone wirelessly. There is a red light indicator at the top to let you know the phone is charging.

U said u wanted a recommendation for a GOOD Solar Charger here u are: - So we don't have the tech to make a Battery pack have a Solar panel on it and for that to work efficiently. Reason being Heats created from the panel absorbing all the Light, transfering that energy into usable Electrical energy, then sending that Electricity to charge the battery which is then converted again into DC when in the battery cells. - All this means u lose a lot of energy as heat from these products. So the solution then... Well we do have one but its not as clean and easy. What u will need is the following: (Search these on Amazon fyi) - Anker 21 watt 2 port USB portable solar charger - for $70 bucks - Anker PowerCore 26800 mAh External Battery - for $60 bucks U can probably see why there separate which is of course to separate the heat sources from one another that way u don't lose nearly 60% or more of the power your generating from the panels. Hence this is the only option we have at this moment until we start to use Graphene which will help with these power losses quite drastically but again we aren't' there yet so this is the option u got for charging devices in the woods. Also Anker the company that makes these products I mentioned is by far the best company for: - Phone Cables - Laptop chargers - Battery Banks - Mid Range priced headphones - Misc. Phone accessories. I'm not sponsored by them one bit I just found them a few yrs ago and I loved there shit ever since. They used to be a small company then but they've grown quite a bit, so ya check them out they make quality shit and at half the price of corps like Belkin, or Apple for accessories.

I agree. I bought a solar panel thing that folds up. IT's like three panels suck to fabric that can fold up to A5 size. And i attach my anker powercore battery pack. If I leave it all day, on a mildly sunny day (in northern europe) it ill charge a significant amount - enough for a full phone charge.

I watched a 5 minute get rich quick ad before this video - "If you are a high school student and you aren't earning 100k a year, you are missing out". Amanda you are excellent!

Also I feel like when I see an ad and it’s an influencer or like review or something I kinda feel like there wasn’t enough thought put into it. Like they just needed to slap something together and get it out so they took some sponsor’s video and turned it into an ad

The first day I saw these advertisements I almost caved in. Thanks to you and other commentary channels I didnt bring myself to order one. If it's too good to be true it probably is!

I don't think their ads are running anymore. Probably got sued by someone.

BTW, thank you for putting up your first video that you ever made (or unprivated), as it definitely helped me, a 41year old lol. As, it show's 7s that no matter how bad you think you are on camera, you can definitely count on yourself becoming way MORE comfortable in front of it. Just like you, it shows how much growth you've had as a person, but also as a content creator. I thank you for sharing that💯

This was extremely informative! I don't see ads thanks to KZbin premium, but I am usually wary of buying anything from a social media platform or an email. I have been burned before, not only by a defective and cheap product but being signed up for some type of "membership" that I honestly cannot recall agreeing to when I purchased the product. If it seems too cheap and easy, it probably is a scam.

Great stuff, as usual, Amanda this scratched a serious itch for me. I only see youtube ads on mobile, but holy fuck, every single time it's those ads. Sorta insults the intelligence when they think they can pass ads off as unbiased product reviews...

Just found your channel and you have fucking bangers, god damn. You have your style and voice nailed down to the ground and I end up not noticing you’re just in front of a door. You are just as good as any channel bigger than yours and you should be really proud of what you’ve made here. I definitely subbed! Have a good one!

I got literally the SAME EXACT emails. I ordered in March. Still haven’t gotten anything. I got the same two emails you got. And then I got an additional email telling me their various departments that I could email to. Although I’ve Never EVER gotten a direct reply to any email I’ve sent. Then their customer service number listed on their insta is out of service. The whole thing is a huge scam.
